There are always the basics of a good plot, lots of characters and several episodes for quality stories.
Many of these works are still of excellent quality, including the visuals, even with today's standards.
In addition, some story advancement mechanics, almost non-existent at present, should be taken up or inspired by recent games. They would surely still gain in quality.
Maybe even a good creator could make a remake or remaster these works ?
