Has a quite sparse amount of gameplay and erotic scenes but the story easily draws you in. do mind that the gameplay is almost unfair but decently made.
The combat is basically blackjack with no threshold to points.

Overall underrated and forgotten, but solid. This is a Visual Novel, although closer to a kinetic one given choices are nearly non-existent. The story itself is divided in two parts. The first part ends with a "bad end", then after credits roll, a new button to play the second part becomes available (which picks up exactly after the first part ended). Some questions ─ including new names which show up near the end of the first part as if you were supposed to know whom they are ─ are explained and answered on the second part.

Characters are decently written, although some of them can get in your nerves. They do present some growth, but the quirks which make them annoying will never be gone (not even for the protagonist, mind you). Story writing is solid, it doesn't foreshadow that much, you usually don't see the plot twists coming but they don't seem displaced when they do. It is hard to describe without comparing to the original FSN, but it might actually have taken inspiration from it.

Gameplay: Easy mode is really easy. Your character changes stats often, so be mindful when assigning stat points ─ skills always cost the same, but the amount of the six stats are variable depending on which point the story is, which means at some points it is cheaper to raise them than at others. Skills are unlocked at certain thresholds of the primary stats. If you're playing on Easy mode, armor is not necessary ─ it is easy to always get the initiative. You need to get the initiative to attack! The combat is intuitive, but there's a HELP button on the bottom right corner of the battle screen if you need it. (It's not shown anywhere else outside combat, I advise reading).

Music is decent, art is uncensored however its age shows a bit. The game features a lot of times where the screen shakes, so be careful if you have seizures. As said earlier, this is a game you play for the story, don't expect clothes stripping after fights (although there's some lots of clothes stripping indeed) or even porn as it is simply not the game makers goal.

Overall, I recommend it as a solidly written VN, with minor gameplay elements, little to no choices, low sexual content, light tone but still containing blood, and provided you can withstand the characters personality (I didn't mind, but I can see how they could really damper your experience).

Played this waaaaay back in the day.
Don't expect many sex scenes and they're all average vanilla.
But if you ain't thirsty, this game can be rather fun pastime. I liked the card fights and the story.
