This one has a pretty decent setup - it's basicallly the

formula, only with levels and porn.

(shit man, Age of War is already 17 years old? Damn...)

But the gameplay in this one is still pretty barebones, though. It just... lacks something. As others have pointed out, it gets pretty repetitive once you're a few levels in. The fact that all levels have the exact same background isn't helping, either.

Usually games like this have some system where you can buy upgrades between levels. Or they have an overworld map where the progression between missions isn't just linear. None of that so far in this game, though.

I'd do a proper review, but I'm gonna wait for later versions to see what the dev will do.

I really hope next versions will have a battlecats type of progression where you have a chance to obtain an upgrade after completing each levels.

Damn I haven't thought about this game in years and I'm surprised that I was able to remember it so quickly.

I sifted through some of the codes.
It looks like those 3 big types are just elites (1000-1500 hp and 100-150 damage), lvl 45 boss has 100 times more hp and 10 times more damage without AoE attack (100000 hp and 1000 damage). And if you get defeated at lvl 45 game thanks you for playing and direct you to their website, if you win you get regular win screen, so game wants you to lose at lvl 45.

and these are my saves if you want to try to boss on normal or very hard (with full gallery)

It lacks flexibility.

To use your Age of War example: You always have two strategies, focus gold or focus XP.

In this game you only have one strategy, focus pollen/gold. If you can't figure out the "correct strat", fuck you. Turn down the difficulty or cheat.
