Also, I gave the code a quick lookie loo and I couldnt find anything that might have triggered it, though I gotta say, it werent easy since you dont use the usual Unity structure.
I think its because theres code pointing outside the game like it does and the fact that the anti-virus program might be recognzing a Unity game, but couldnt match it with the usual way unity games are structured.
I didnt really check thoroughly enough to find out why, nor am I an expert in virus detection

ah I actually gave it a try after I posted that... It's pretty good, I like how there are hidden secrets you have to find and the artstyle is great too, I just wish I wasn't a broke boi to get that Patreon Special Option.

Shame to see everything behind a pay wall. Are there any sex scenes other than the battles? I think I was on the last ingredient where you have to use the sword, but gave up trying to figure out how to clean the helmet. Do you actually get rewarded with a scene for doing all of that or does it just tell you to become a Patreon?

Understatement of the year. I still don't understand why you think you need a paywall, when almost every other dev uses a monthly based system instead. Just that alone will make me never support a developer, even if i really enjoy their games like I do yours.
You do understand that not everyone has $12.80 to give to a game that doesn't even update monthly right? That's as much as my Netflix subscription. To lock half of youR game behind that seems pretty scummy to me. You can reward patrons without fucking over everyone else.

Agreed. The idea of playing a game gutted of content is just frustrating to the point where I'd rather not bother when there are so many more complete, completely free titles out there. I'm sure the decision to establish a paywall has turned away far more players like me than the additional revenue is worth. I'm not a miser, I've supported games I've thoroughly enjoyed in the past, but a compulsory paywall really irks me. I can't fault the devs for wanting a guarantee of return on their project. A paywall just seems misguided given the state of the market being so plentiful with free content, making it heavily geared towards donations.
Anyways, yeah, looks interesting, but I'll be giving this one a miss.

I can certainly understand where you come from. Not all projects proceed in ways that suit our tastes, I get that.
When we researched how people set up their Patreons (we thought there might be kinda a 'perfect' thing all creators do) , we found an immensely varied set of offers.
Some Patreons have three tiers, some have two, some have five or even more.
Some Patreons' lowest tiers are 1$, some are 10$, some even more. Ours is 3$
Some highest tiers are 25$, ours is 69$
, some even are 295$.
Some offer early access, some offer bonus content, some offer merch, some offer questionnaires, some offer debug codes, some offer artwork etc etc - some even don't offer anything besides the game.
So, we decided to make something we both would like to see done. DOUBLE THE LEWD CONTENT for Patrons, that's something we found really rad, that's something we'd like to see. And that's what we did.
Is that the way to make everybody happy? Certainly not. I feel that would be true for every other model we'd choose.
For our souls, it's better to choose a model that works for us, that enables us to make games many people could enjoy, the people that support us could enjoy twice as much - and some might really love them.

Because the patrons don't have a problem with it and are not bitching at the developer about it. They're also not the only one with an exclusive version for patrons as a supporter gift and some of them charge more than $12 for it.
Dezue already made $300 more with it and as long as the patrons are happy with it and it continues to make money for the higher goals, it isn't going to change anytime soon.

Imagine being okay with paywalls because the people willing to pay the ridiculous amount are okay with it.

Paywalls are a part of Patreon and complaining about it here isn't going to change it.
