just because a game has porn, or is a porn game, doesn't mean it should be out of character or ruin the story just to shove in some porn. games like that are shit and ruin the fun, hence why they are usually mocked. plus it is a bit cliche at this point anyway, nothing wrong having a porn game that actually has a proper story and natural progression like you would in the real world now and then.
Also of course the mc is interested in sex, he just wants to keep everyone at an arms length, which makes sense, for the character that is setup it would be stupid for him to not act the way he does, he doesn't allow himself to see the obvious because he wants to protect the girls not use them. athlough with kate it makes sense for him to not bother because she sees it as just an activity for some fun where as the others view it as something much more intimate.
Point being, don't let your dick cloud your mind. not every porn game has to be the same stereotypical bs. there are always more porn games to play that are like that, no need to ruin this gem with an opinion like that (I say that because it has happened to games before).
"It works for the story" that right there kinda ruins any argument you had because quite simply the game should be what it is, not something it isn't, yes it has sex and porn, but if it having a good story that keeps itself in character means it isn't a proper "porn game" to you, then don't see it as a porn game then, see it like Katawa shoujo, where the sex only makes sense for the story, and the story isn't just about the sex.

Alright... I'm sure there isn't anything I can say that others haven't said before, but I'll go anyway:
Man... this was a ridiculously long .1 version. I gave it the standard skip-skim at first, then decided to play through it normally after realizing just how long it seemed. There seem to be a good couple of hours of content depending on your reading speed, though it honestly took me waaay longer than that. Granted, the most of that "content" are long lines of dialogue with only some choice scenes and events which is what is usually used to judge content... content. However, the writing is quite good, but more on that later.
The art style is excellent, it seems like the perfect middle ground between the more realistic Daz3D models and the animesque Honey Select; The characters have realistic details, but the filter(?) keeps them from looking unholy as is prone to happen to Daz models with certain lightings and camera angles. That said, I understand that for those who don't like it, they really wouldn't like it. The girls' character designs are gorgeous as well, that it's quite hard to pick a clear favorite.
Going back to the writing; simply put, it is on point. The characters have real personalities, and the game isn't simply "see girl, seduce girl, fuck girl, next" like most games on this site. I love nukiges as much as the next jagoff, but I adore some good writing as well. There are some rough spots, however; but they're seem to mostly be grammatical errors and simple dialogue mistakes, and those can be easily fixed with proofreading and editing.
Fourthly... and I'm only bringing this because of his seeming prominence in both the story and the trailer... but, James is the gay option, right? Either that or he's actually fucking GOD. He's probably my favorite character from an objective standpoint, barring the "best girl" shizz, with how cool and hilarious he is that I'm *almost* hoping he's the gay option.
To end, I'm really excited for the next version and hope it comes out soon. There are some really hot stuff in the preview images. I'm no masochist, but Melissa's dominatrix costume is hot; and that threesome with Kate and Amy? Hmm-hmm~! .2 can't come out fast enough, and I do hope it'd have more scenes.

Must admit, it's really long for a first version. I liked it so far and will follow it. So far, job well done!
The thing with how linear this game is right now, I'm almost convinced that the "route" for a character is more like an arc.
I'm not sure because stencilbits said 0.1 "contains the common route and roughly half of Nina’s route" and "route" implies some kind of choice, while the story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. Or are we just being defaulted to Nina's route for now since there aren't any alternatives?

What ruins a game is bad writing, not the amount of porn it has... but that's not the point to me.
As I said, it works for the story and I'm enjoying it as it is, but I also think it's important for a game to give the player a choice, or at least the illusion of choice instead of automatically making every decision for you, otherwise you could just write a novel and post it here.
For example, there was enough opportunities to try something with Jane at the cost of upsetting Nina, but a choice was never given and I think you should be able to make choices like that. I know that writing a branching storyline at this level is not an easy task and the dev should not bite more than he can chew, but not every choice should be major story changing choices, it's important to give the player minor choices even if it leads to the same outcome with some extra lines of dialogue, just to give the player the sense he's in control of the situation. To me that's what differentiate a visual novel from a regular novel.

It has SO much content for a v0.1, I was expecting some short story but I was basically playing this for almost all afternoon! It was great, I loved the story, the art and the characters. Spent a lot of time laughing at the MC's jokes and situations. Hope to see more of this one, good luck!

ooo that is what you meant, well that is simple answer really.... only Nina's route is available atm. not Janes, Now I am sure there will be certain choices when hers is added, however I wouldn't be surprised if there are still no choices there, as the MC isn't a complete cunt and wouldn't do something like that to nina someone he cares about dearly. but hey I might be wrong just wait and see.

sorry to burst your bubble, but I think what it might mean by gay is lesbian, not Homoboy. that being said James is too much of a james bond to be gay imo, since he seems like the I like puss kinda guy. that is just my opinion though.

It was just a joke. Y'know, the "he's so badass and cool I'm starting to question my own sexuality around him" schtick. He's such a likeable character I kinda wish he's got his own route.

Some suggestions, Make your patreon more visible in game. Typed out text on the title screen would be great. Also add a patreon link text overlay when dialogue is hidden (Just in the corner, non intrusive. I'd make it relatively ambiguous in the code, just for protection against lazy assholes that might try to make a profit from your work.)
After you do those I would get this version hosted on as many sites as you can (even if you have to pay a few bucks.) It's sadly the only way you're going to get exposure, and you actually have a quality product.

This game's script is by far the best I've ever seen tbh. Stuff like the comedy infused with character development and all, it's just all great!
What I most like about the script is the sentence choices/structures and the MC's responses and conversations. It's all unpredictable and really delivers quite a punch of humor.
