The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on Episode 1 & 2...
This VN/Game is not that good at all, even though Episode 2 is better then Episode 1, but only by a fraction... I'll get into more details below... It is another cliché porn fest with the rather over used Incest theme overshadowing the whole thing...
The visuals of the characters are crisp, for the most part, being as most are slightly exaggerated to fit in with the low-fantasy theme... The backdrops are so-so, being a mix of doctored real photos, some unique backdrops, and some backdrops I've seen before... The only real highlight of this VN/Game is the use of some higher quality character models and a few HQ looking props... The outside of some of the buildings in Episode 2 looked very fake, such as the beach house... It didn't look much like a house at all really... It's the lack of attention to things like those that offsets the good visuals and overall brings the score down...
The script is a mix of good English and bad English... The story telling moves very quickly, has lots of plot holes, and feels rather hap-hazardly thrown together... It read like an attempt to either be funny (I never felt the desire to laugh), to push a plot agenda (that seemed a bit absurd and not portrayed well), and there were lots of inconsistencies... The basic plot jumps around a bit with a human woman who is lucky and then dies, the devil tricks her by playing like a perverted god and sends her to a different realm as a wife and mother to several various fae women...
In Episode 1, you sort of play as a Male Protagonist who is of course a pervert and dreams of sex with his family, and so the devil gives him magical powers to have his way with women... Very quickly you go through several scenes with only a tiny handful of decisions that will all lead to having sex (the devil possesses the protagonist) with one of his daughters friends (which totally changes in the Episode 2 story line)… So you end up going through maybe 10 or so minutes of reading and scene changes and the end credits begin to roll... Asking you to try different story paths... Of which there isn't any... You can either peep or not peep (via casting a spell on the family) , select how to end the sex in the barn in the end, and not much else... No various story lines, so unsure what the developers were trying to imply... And I restarted it several times to re-check...
Episode 2, doesn't have all the same attempt at humor mumbo jumbo, but it moves just as fast through the story and plot as Episode 1... Starting with one of the daughters who fantasizes having sex with her father and one of her sisters... This is supposedly because she witnessed seeing her father having sex with her sister from Episode 1, which never happened... I don't know if there is just some translation errors made or what, because I went back and checked, and there was no actual sex between the father and one of the daughters, just some peeping in the bathroom and then sex in the barn with a daughters friend...
In any case, Episode 2 just goes by at lightning speed, to include all the erotic scenes, with no real deep story or meaningful characters... It's mostly just a fast paced romp from one sexual encounter to the next... With perhaps a tiny bit of story thrown in-between, but was mostly just setups for another erotic event... There seemed to be no real consistency as the VN/Game plays out, and the only time choices are presented you either end up skipping an erotic scene, or altering how an erotic scene, slightly plays out, or ends... Most of the time the story telling is either confusing or makes no sense either because the dialogue/monologue was maybe improperly translated/interpreted or because it moves too quickly...
I ended up quitting a little after half way through the 2nd Episode because it was pretty clear I wasn't having any fun reading it and nothing was getting any better... I tried to stick with it, to see if it would improve, slow down, or have some deeper plot at some point... But nada...
Overall, the visuals of the characters are a mixed bag, for the most part, with a tiny few decent ones now and then, but the failed attempts at humor and bad story telling just ruined the experience for me... Even the erotic scenes sometimes felt far too rushed and just thrown together... I would have to place this VN/Game into the porn fest category, but not a very high rated one... I'm sure the developers were attempting to create some funny moments and be a little light hearted with this one, but I've played/read better... I wish them the best of luck in their endeavor... Alas, I will not be revisiting this one...
