It is super fucking buggy and the Dev is the creator of After Invasion, a bug filled shit fest (that I wanted to be good and could be if not for bugs) that has been put on hold due to him having to restart from scratch/work around the Patreon Incest ban. I saw this and grabbed it off his Patreon, as for the story, there was more on the Patreon, I just grabbed the general description of the game. As for how it plays, I couldn't figure out how to use the nanites I managed to create in any of the 3 forms i managed to create.
Also console commands, money and dominance are the only 2 that aren't exactly what they say they are in the console. Basically Money is cash and dominance is dom while strength is strength and control is control.

so basically:
control = x
strength = x
cash = x
dom = x
the rest follow control and strength's way of inputting them and you type the full word.

Patreon has to abide laws from different countries, as well as the policy of PayPal if they want to do business with them, so it's not just "Patreons high horse" we'd have to battle.
That's the trouble when a site gets to establish a well know name and brand of trust, it get noticed by all factors out there.

Patreon has never been a site only for the erotic genre, but a brought specter of all kinds of art to support.
However I suspect the vast majority of income is indeed from the erotic game genre, after all sex sells

I too feel they restrict the creative heart too much, which is why I withdraw 75% of my support from their site when their policy changed and am reluctant to patron any more, as that site would get their cut of my money too.

Having been an active Patron of multiple developers for a few years I can inform that at some point the popular game walls got spammed by links to what looked like creative "hookers", offering pics/vids, supposedly "homemade" to patrons of different tiers. Heck, some even offered "dates" and what not, for high end patrons.
That's prostitution, even if it was all scams, which it smelled like to me.
The new site policy cracked down hard on those, but why game developers had to go under the same knife as well is beyond me.
Guess it's something American, that fantasy and reality is the same thing?

I for one can get pretty turned on by something in a game, which would absolutely turn me off in real life.

All jokes aside, this dev is pretty scummy... I doubt hes doing it on purpose, he likely just have the mind of a teenager when it comes to project management.. I doubt he WANTS to scam people, I simply believe him to be selfish enough to believe its okay to take money from backers and not bother finishing what he started.

Theres no "high horse" about it, they want to promote being a family platform, and I'm fairly sure that family aint sucking each other off.

Also, having incest sex IS illegale, creating porn depicting it is in more of a gray area as long as the actors arent actually siblings.

Either way, Patreon is a privately owned business, you accept their terms when you make a patreon, it sucks, but thats how it is. Honestly, I doubt they care even a little, hell. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to let it continue since they are only limiting profits with each term and genre they ban from their site.

However, think of it from a PR standpoint, the moment some uptight lardass politician got wind of it and saw some way to benefit from it, lets say a Republican tries to use Patreon's allowance of incest as a way to be all like "Our youth is being corrupted by the internet! We need more control over what people can see!", or some other bullshit agenda politicians can think up, then suddenly shit hits the fan.

Well it became clear they want nothing to do with anything porn related when they shut down all the real porn stuff a year prior to the crackdown on games. Games were a problem because like literature in the US, its protected by amendment rights. But realistically it would be completely cancelled if they thought they could get away with it.

It simply comes down to paypals fear that porn generates demands for refunds which in their TOS will result in the cancellation of service. This is why CCbill is the go to for porn in general as an online payment processor since paypal is a dick about it.

After Invasion is by far my farvorite porn game, so I had high expectations for that. No that you can no longer choose the MC's gender, I'm deeply disappointed to be stuck with a default male MC here. It is illegal in many many places. And patreon will be more then fine they have made more money banning incest content then allowing it, its why they still do it. You need to be careful as you don't clearly understand what your talking about and making vague threats. Patreon is not gonna lose any sleep or money over it at all, and in some countries they take money from its illegal pure and simple so either they ban all users from that country, and lose tens of thousands or cut a few games and lose a few thousand of which they only get like 10 cents on the dollar lol.

Its easy call risk huge profits, open your self up to lawsuits and huge legal fees for lawyers, or shut down the incest pages people report and save money.

Its like when US and UK banned kiddy hentai porn all over again all these "experts" show up saying its illegal, legal or not fighting it costs them way way more money then turning a blind eye then instant banning it when reported to cover their ass.

If they want to make it I am ok with it but from a business standpoint there is more to lose defending it then banning it.
