Its not real, it was never real, no human was harmed making it or had its autonomy violated, just the same as the last game 'They' played didnt feature actual murder, rape, or alien insemination. If its the kind of porn thats not for them, then they can click away instead of tearing it away from others. Bestiality is also illegal and yet, games with it are allowed here uncontested?
Perhaps its projection, THEY cant help but think of those sexy kids IRL and so must protect the kids from us, and by us, they mean themselves.

Generally speaking if it's picked up by only 4 out of 66 or similarly low numbers, it's almost always just a false positive. If there was actually a virus the number should be a lot higher.
Heck, even if this was different and actually was evidence of actual attraction, I'd much rather they be looking at cartoons instead of real versions.
That's rarely the case.
That said, AI is getting better while the doll making industry is good enough already. If they can combine ai and the doll industry and create hyper realistic dolls, that act like humans to some extent, these people can be curbed much more effectively. But I can see the criticism coming from miles away and it getting banned anyways.
I can see the logic of it. Craving begets more craving. That's how our entire economic system works: machines rise productivity, cut on the labour force and increase profits. It's extremely hard for any business owner that's ambitious to cut a line and abide by some morality. That's what drives capitalism. Infinite growth. And it's the result of our tendency to crave things more and more.
In the same way, for someone who is strongly attached and full of passion for their twisted desires, there's no end to what line they will be willing to cross if left alone. But in this case, the strong deterrent of being imprisoned, killed and scorned is probably enough in the face of a harmless means of release they can rely on. Only time would tell, however and there will always be the ones with absolutely no bottom line.
I mean, we saw how it went with stuff like prohibition. Ignoring a craving doesn't make that craving go away. And how are all those "abstinence only" communities doing?

Quickly scrolled through it the other day, seems to be a you're put in the middle of each of these scenes and you have to correctly resist before losing to your lust.

So this seems to wear its Disgaea influence pretty openly. The style of humor, backchatty subordinates, some of the character designs (your maid in particular), and the cheerful, bouncing music in the hub area all seem like they could have been taken from the series directly. Kind of makes it more fun, I like it.
