Unity - Abandoned - Monster Girl Island [v0.44.3] [Redamz]

Just to offset the fanboying in these reviews, thought I'd leave my thoughts on this.

I've supported this project from when it just started, around 10 patrons or so at the time. It was the first Monster Girl game on Patreon and one which seemed of high quality. Moreover, it had VR support, which was truly a dream come true for a monster girl fan. The developer was excited about the project, did interesting blogs on his progress and just generally engaged the community as one would.

But fast forward to today, and unfortunately, it has not been the case for years. This is the project that had amazing potential, but will never be realized due to reasons you could easily find yourself.

The game itself might seem impressive on the first glance if you are a newcomer, but the case it: it's not. The UI is still clunky, the full VR support for the game has been dropped, the animations are not very fluid. This game plays very similarly to how it was 5 (!!!) years ago. And it doesn't seem likely like it'll improve much based on recent updates.

The only good quality of this project at the end of the day is the unique monster girls. There are still no other games with similar quality of monster girls, perhaps 1 or 2, and I don't see that changing. For that reason I am giving it 2 stars, instead of just one.

I'm a huge AVG nerd and propably tried/played 200+ titles over the past 2-3 years.

Let me say one thing.
This shit is the fcking future.
Monster Girl Island puts 99% of the other games to shame.
It's amazing, it's a solid 5/5 from me and it has the potential to become the best game on this entire site.
I know this is a bold statement and there are 2 main reasons (I won't list all of them, just 2 most important ones):
1. Technical achievement. The game feels like a real freaking FPP real time videogame, not like a glorified talentless asset flip. There has never been a proper FPP game on this site that didn't feel stiff and awkward. Sure, that one game about MC getting trapped on a space station with 2 girls was amazing (cant remember the name), but it didn't feel like an A/AA/AAA product. This one does.
Animations are flawless, faces convey amotions in a great way, there are no glitches. Game looks great, all the systems work great. The way dialogues appear on your screen is revolutionary for Adult Videogames! It's a smooth experience. MGI feels like it has a real team of developers behind it, while in contrast I feel like many games that tried to achieve the same goal felt like they were made by some guy with no programming/art experience in some basement in russia.
2. My main concern when downloading MGI was that it could turn out to be tech demo. I'm sure by now most of us on this site played at least one game with amazing graphics/art/design that turned out to be 15 minutes long.
This is not the case here. Sure, the game isn't huge by any means, but it took me something like 8 hours to unlock every H-scene. And oh boy was it worth it!

Personal opinion
i prey for this game if the game is the same of the preview is golden

One of the best if not the best 3D monster anime themed erotic game. Yeah, its not perfect but which game is at the start. Few things to fix but general idea is solid. Story not the highest or deepest but thats why people love hentai/ecchi theme. Girls look sometimes like taken out of Monster Musume which for my taste is good choice. Shark girl is not the best looking girl but not all monsters should look completly human..it depends on taste. No matter how you look at it the promise of pregnancy is nice. Besides incest with next generation is not out of the question. Why? Its another species. So who cares. Great graphic, a little too hard on my potato computer but it still got great detail in sexy moments.
Besides obvious little annoying things. I would like to give thanks to dev for creating this masterpiece. A lot of little things to make this game fun like riding cute dog. Variety of races, characters, minigames.. I hope to see much more of this game and for dev to gather a team of experts to make his life easier and updates faster. Add to it a little less demanding disk space requierment

I love where this game is going, and i cant wait to see how far the developer can take it. You can tell by playing the story the amount of love they put into this game and are constantly trying to further it beyond expectations.
Unfortunately, you need a nice machine to run this game on the perferred settings. However, it will still run on lower end machines; just need to use lower graphics.
From a technicaly point of view, I would say the developer should pay more attention to the mesh colliders going forward because sometimes there is some clipping when two separate objects are interacting> Oh and for boob physics, I would recommend dialing it down just a little bit; in your halloween build, when Arachne walked up to the protagonist and Ophellia, her chest was going in all kinds of weird directions. And lastly, could you put a targeter in the middle of the screen, so players wont have to go spam clicking to make sure they are interacting properly with objects that need to be picked up.
Even though the game is still in early development, i eagerly look forward to more updates.
