it's a great thing some people have the ability to read, cause those that did know this is not a update but a pre-update test of the new UI.

Ohh, massive change in the core of the game after so much work ... (some dev had a great headache trying to implement)
But was not the end of the project planned for December?
(change of plans?)
Would not it be easier to finish the game and a remake 2.0 later?

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but I'm the dev of this game (and always have been).
A lot has been added/changed during the development of the last 1.5 year, due to the game has getting a lot bigger and more popular than I originally anticipated (which could also be argues to be bad planning on my side).
But no, the end of this project has never been planned for December.
Actually I expect/hope to be able to finish it another 6-8 months, hence the decision for fixing everything now (instead of running more problems the coming months).

Right now I do not know what is a bug or what has not been implemented. I bought clock and game but neither work. they were automatic in earlier versions. The intro is a must but it is also a pain in the ass. The awards and MC stats were moved to the Phone Why???? it makes no sense to have to go to the phone for every little thing.

-Babydoll in the bookstore (shopping center)
-no books in the bookstore (im sure there was something about charisma)
-cant enter clothing store and perfume store
-there is nothing in Lingerie store (im gonna guess its where Babydoll should be)
-the milk stays in your begs after you give it to mom/landlady
-buying new alarm doesnt replace the old one
- mattress stays in begs as well
(dont think im gonna post anymore about things that stay in begs
but i will add that veronica's id doesn't - its like one thing that worked correctly )

The book store shows baby doll, but when I buy item says "this will help me with my charisma", so seems to be just an image issue.
Also the clothing store and perfume shop, back ground changes but menu does not, stays on location selector.
Ran into a bug during intro, the "Veronica added to phone" keep showing then cascading down, never had the "ok, got it" option stay on screen.
Veronica small image not showing in bathroom in PM, but room shows locked.
work on charisma info line stops at "you can increase by....."
no black screen, but the "damn she looks hot" crash for me as well.
Will add any other bugs as I find them.

Concerning the WT. When the final 8.3 is released will the current WT still be good. It seems that the content will remain the same, with maybe minor changes, and the paths will stay the same but the background mechanics and the presentation will be the most of the changes. That would require a start over scenario because of coding issues.
So I would assume it won't cause a major rewrite of the WT.
