RPGM - Completed - Lust Grimm [v1.17] [62studio]

For me Lust Grimm is one of the GOAT succubus games. There are many "sequels", many of which have better art and maybe even more enemies, but none of them captured the magic of the original for me. For a genre that largely boils down to femdom, Lust Grimm will have females dominating you without much chance of escape. The later games are much more relaxed and you essentially have to let the succubi win.

Even the remake suffers from this same problem of being too easy, and tries to offer a mode more similar to the original to make up for it. However even this does not have the effect of the original as it is essentially just a "lose on purpose" mode.

The downside of LG is that the engine is ancient and the CGI is mostly not as good as the sequels.

Not a very interesting game at all, I only played for 1 hour and maybe it gets better, but I thought it was a complete waste of my time. D-tier game. I unlocked only 4 or 5 scenes.

The story is pretty much non-existent, I still don't really understand what the plot is meant to be. There's something with Little Red Riding Hood and a bunch of succubi? Like I don't know what is going on.

The character art is good and the enemies (succubi) are all hot. I do like that they strip in the battle and stuff. My issue is that in the scenes, the pussy and MC's dick is 'censored' as in you can't see them because the MC is a blue blob. This makes the scenes not very arousing and not very hot. I do like that the scenes do bob up and down rather than being a still image, but that really doesn't add that much. Another issue with the scenes is that they are very repetitive and can mostly be unlocked by losing fights. I was getting no scenes when I was playing so I decided to lose a bunch to see the scenes, and it's basically the same scene every time you lose but maybe with a bit of different dialogue.

The combat is quite boring to be honest. In general I am a fan of combat systems with 'lewd attacks' where you can grope the enemy or flash your self, etc. But in this game, it is not very well done. The attacks in this game are either kissing the enemy or touching their boobs/ass/pussy, but there is no animation when you do any of these attacks which just reverts this game back to a generic RPGM combat system. This combat system also has a lot of new status effects and stuff which seems cool in theory, but in practise and when playing the game, it just adds unnecessary complexity and makes the game worse. Another issue with the combat system is that when you lose (which is necessary to get a lot of the scenes), you get a penalty for losing. This penalty makes it much harder to fight the same enemy the next time you face them. It's a cool concept, but just like communism, when implemented, it doesn't work at all.

Other issues I have are that the game has basically no direction at all, I found myself just running around picking up random shit around the map and fighting some enemies with no idea of where I'm meant to be going or what to do. I would appreciate a quests tab or something with some guidance.
One thing I did like however was the achievements tab which sometimes gave you a stat buff.

Overall it's not a very interesting game. Maybe it gets better but it did not capture my attention enough to continue playing it. I would not recommend this game unless you like running around a map like a headless chicken.

I came for the succubus content. Pretty good material all around, game can be a little grindy but the cheats get you what you want if you're in a hurry. I enjoyed it more than drain dungeon 2 and a couple others of similar ilk. There are a wide variety of succubi such as nurse, police officer, stripper, angel, fallen angel, and many more.

really surprised me for a porn game, I got a solid fifteen hours of gameplay out of it (mostly from the casino)
I recommend this game if you enjoy even a little bit of gameplay in your porn
fair warning about some of the difficulty spikes, but you can play on easy difficulties to avoid any of the grindy parts

What a magnificent game we have here ! It is so rare to see such a big and full game at rpg maker. There is cool plot with corrupted fairy tale character, there is bad guys, and hero, which is unluckly, like many other people, thrown to dangerous but interesting world of succubi, survivors and crazy perverts. This world is full of enemies, npcs, items, grind and a bit of sidequest, which makes you stronger, because enemies needed to be specifically defeated. Yup. it is a game. where you will not win smashing just one imbalanced skill, enemies there have specific weaknesses.
I like everything in it, even dialogs and cg's.
You can have here nice gameplay, plot and fap material. So definitely recommended to play ! At least 15 hours of your life will be never forgotten.
Ps: also, I recommend you to cheat for silver keys, because farming them is super hard and unfair, and content of grey chests are commonly shit.

A real rpg. I picked this up, thinking I'd play around on it for 15-20 minutes and dump it. It actually kept my interest and made me want to proceed. It hasn't been since the super nintendo games that I found a game quite as interesting (obviously interesting in other ways as well)
While everything is sex themed, this is a real rpg type game, not just a game as a front for content. I logged 30 hours of game time but that was going back and getting every little thing. It could probably be plowed through in 10, maybe less if you use a cheat guide, but that spoils it.

I really love this type of games, the nsfw content is pretty nice and the plot was actually interesting. I think I spent at least 20+ hours in this game bc I tried really hard to find everything and did every side quest

This game does a lot of things well. The story is interesting and engaging, and contains the right amount of humor without taking itself too seriously, or becoming one giant gag reel. Mechanically there are a few interesting systems in place that helps separate this game form other RPGM games, such as the lust system. Skill acquisition and combat is done a bit differently, instead of the normal "Obtain skill at X level" formula, which helps. The game isn't too grindy, as I was able to reach max level without spending an inordinate amount of time grinding away. The way Lust Grimm manages losses is particularly interesting, as you are punished for losing, but not with the typical "Game Over....Reload?" mechanic. There is also a plethora of secrets to discover to entertain completionists.

The soundtrack is very surprisingly good. The Artwork is well done, though don't expect realistic proportions or anything like that. There was a solid variety of enemies available, each with their own CG scenes, triggered by the controversial loss in battle. There are a few events independent of battle to be found too. Scenes are a combination of images and text.

My only real gripe with the game is the lack of variety in scenes. make no mistake, this game is geared toward paizuri, with a heavy influence on breasts in general. Though there are a few scenes that don't feature paizuri, they are few and far between. If you are a fan of paizuri, this is the game for you; if not, it's still a very worthwhile play in my opinion, though the pron aspects may leave something to be desired. If I could take half a star, I would, but rounded to the nearest whole star, I'll give it 5.

Great CGs, interesting side quests, decent story. No bugs that I've seen.
The music is better than almost all other rpgmaker games that I know of. When you get the True Ending, scenes can all be viewed at the Succubus House. It's a bit of a grind if you don't use CE. No voice acting or animations, but that's expected.
