Seeking Looking for games similar to Mission mermaiden (mind control elements)

I´ve looked through this website quite a bit, but i wasnt able to find anything that would fill up my need for more action sidescrollers with mind control elements and effects like Mission mermaiden or Hachina. Any tips on other titles that I might enjoy? Im open to anything.
