Probably one of the most balanced AVN and specially for sandbox, the mixture is perfect.

Very good story, likable characters, dialogues... It's mostly a light story, lots of comedy elements but also not afraid of doing something dark. The amount of sex scenes and story is nice and feels balanced, the way the sex scenes are performed is great (and the amount of girls and acts), you feel free to do things as a sandbox and it's not one you feel grinding like just some sort of way of blocking you from the good stuff by doing boring things, all the tasks are mostly implemented in the story so it works, it makes sense ("of course you have to do this before doing that!" instead of "you have to repeat this boring act 37 times before doing this"). You can choose to have a time limit or not if you want some challenge, I would recommend having the time limit for the first time at least.

This is for sure one of my favourites.

The rating I gave for this game really made me very happy, even many times I played from my own version without mods and WALKTHROUGH still made me not stop comparing the results and ending of the story I played with the results of mods and WALKTHROUGH

The rating I give is 5/5, because this game is a good game, although not the best, but I think it's been good enough from the start I followed it until now I'm still following it, because in forum 5/5 is excellent so I give it the maximum, and for the first time, of all the games that I played, I followed until it was completed. I wouldn't necessarily give a rating, because i confused to give rating?, even though the storyline was finished, it could still be played.

Is there a continuation for this game? Or does it just end here this game? even though this game is very good, especially even though the story is over you can still play it again and again.

Animation is still a bit stiff, Performance is good, Originality, Grammar I think is good, Render is okay, Sound is good, Amount of content is quite good, Playability is certainly good, I found bugs in the middle and it has been fixed, Voice Acting is not good because when it's done finished the sound persists the delay in the scene.

Thanks to the Developers who have made this game so interesting, I hope there will be a continuation or some kind of this game back.

Overall 4.5/5, an actual sandbox VN with a great mystery solving mechanic, had a great time going through it.

Sandbox and Mystery Solving 5/5, this is what really elevates the game, unlike other "sandbox" VNs, this game actually has an in depth sandbox with many different choices that could lead to varying results. You go around with the purpose of trying to gather "clues" with the ultimate goal of trying to solve one big mystery

Characters 4/5, though some characters are amazing i feel most are pretty normal, the mystery solving makes interactions with them just much more interesting

Story 3.5/5, if just read from a script i feel the story would be pretty normal, however the story is just presented through the sandbox making it much a more interesting experience

Art / Renders 3.5/5, a very "realistic" style, though the characters do look good a lot of scenes really put me off especially with facial animations. Another thing is characters are designed with realistic bodies. which I appreciate

I can't find anything wrong in this game, the game is perfect, it had excellent humor, the story is engaging and was one of the best, i felt really alive while playing this game to the point where i started to tear up once or twice at the ending, if you are looking for a game where you fuck a person with watermelons every 2 seconds with a 20 inch cock, where there isn't a story, then this game might not be for you

This might be a porn game but it's more of an interesting and an entertaining story.

It is always nice to play a completed product, I remember playing this game a couple of years back and it was pretty far into its' development again, but this game has a ton for players to do, plus a very hard decision to make at the very end, but I feel like the story definitely has a canonical ending and that's okay! Also NG+ in a porn game is next level.

Played a while ago. Enjoyed it.

Positives:
Engaging game.
Art style is good.
Achieving incest was not easy, so kudos for that.

Negatives:
Not truly sandbox if its time bound.
Also there is closure no for that "wild girl".
Magic level system felt repetitive.

The sandbox element is annoying as hell, and there's a lot of parts that don't make sense (such as when you reveal Nell's dark secret). The game also sets it up as though it wants you to pursue every girl and make a harem, but the only harem ending has you becoming a tyrannical dictator and a villain. If you choose the good path, you're then forced to choose only a single LI to be with (though Selena and Lilith are the exception, as that's a throuple ending), then the epilogue slams you with guilt-ridden endings for all the other girls.
The story's pretty decent, and the renders (while needing a HD update) are also fairly good, but the mechanics and garbage endings ruin the game overall.

Very boring vanilla game.

The story is okay but it is just far too slow and gets boring quick.

The character are very boring, I liked the librarien but everyone else I just didn´t care.

The graphics and characters look very old and bad, the text is in the corner left instead of the middle which just makes it harder to read.

The sex scenes have some robotic animations and are mostly just vanilla stuff I didn´t find any hot.

The gameplay is typical sandbox mostly, with a time limit and a clue system that I actually liked.

But all in all not good just kinda boring.

This is one of the best H games ever made. Period. It not only has great looking characters and good scenes. It actually has a story and plot that keep player engaged. It is not your classic hey press ctrl for 15 minutes to get all scenes. You actually have to think about what you are doing.

This may not be the best game of this kind I have played but it is one of them .
It has a good and complex plot even if some events are classical ones.
I liked the render and the characters, which have a bit of substance. The fairy is a very good addition: I was always smiling at the dialogues.
The MC is not too well endowed comparing to others games.
I had fun playing the game and I will probably playing it again exploring new routes.

A very lovely tale which wraps in mystery perfectly with the clue system. It doesn't struggle to place events in the right place, and the overall pacing and framework I think, was close to if not a total mastery of the Ren'Py engine.

The characters are memorable, and once you figure out their stories you get a better read on not only them, but the MC's attitude insofar how he works with/against them.

The music is well suited and fits perfectly with the clue system, albeit some noises and themes may be repetitive after a while.

The morality of the MC is very much one-track. It's a race against the stats, which allow you to do more sexual things with other characters. The fundamentals of the game surrender to this, so its not a problem, but understandably frustrating if you wanted to be more evil or more righteous as you progress through the game.

There are moments where you can really feel the MC's despair, and when his world does collapse around him, it still means a lot even if for all intents and purposes, he gets reincarnated until he chooses not to be when its all said and done.

Decent game with average graphics. The renders are alright. The characters are not one of the most attractive ones. The story is good although a bit too complicated. The amount of the sex scenes is not that high and they are not best of quality.

In my opinion this is one of the best games on this site. I came for the porn and stayed for the story.

The game is a 3. The story is really good, that's why so many stars, but the scenes are bad I would say. Not only really short but they seem to be really static. The worst thing is that it takes huge amount of time to even get to a simple kiss. Maybe if it was a little more "linear" and if the scenes were a little easier to get, everything would have been much better. It's a shame because the girls looks really good but well, it is what it is.

What a beautiful damn story this was.

I'm not gonna be able to add anything more than has already been said by others. I love this story and I love these characters. Callie is my standout, she's fairly refreshing and unique as characters in these games go. And she's a gorgeous redhead, lol. But honestly, there was only one character I didn't like, and that entirely comes down to personal taste, certainly no fault of the writer.

This was such a well crafted tale. Top notch writing.

I wasn't as thrilled with the gameplay, I felt it to be overly grindy with quite a bit of dead time to sift through and some awkward rules for what could be done when. But it doesn't detract from the experience, not really. Taken as a novel first, it's one of the best I ever read.

Excellent one, the lore & medieval are not that common for Renpy games and it's nice to play different genre at some point.

The story is very appealing with the climax at the end is awesome, I was very hooked until the different endings you can have depending the relationship you got with some LI.

Often, the mistake games with a New Game+ or other looping mechanic make, is to force you to re-do the boring parts too many times. Long Live the Princess doesn't fall into that trap. I got the good ending on my first re-run (narrowly), although there were plenty of optional objectives I didn't get, which I may go back and play again.

One of the best games I have played with. Combined with its not-so-common story line, and beautiful animation. Although I wish there was more sex scene with the girls in the game. The CONS for me is probably the grinding part where you have to either really be a detecting and focus you 100% brain in game, or you continuously alt-tab to your walkthrough. Long Live the Princess truly captivates from the get-go. The simple yet engaging fantasy world slowly builds a solid foundation throughout the game-mechanics "prologue" / introduction, and I found myself eagerly unravelling the interwoven threads of intrigue with its twists and hooks.

H-scenes
The animations and statics are simple, clean, and beautifully rendered.

The "worst" complaint you will find is what I personally find so compelling about the game: you can't do everything in a single playthrough (near close from what I see in the WT guide, but certainly not a blind go of the intended timed mode)

Mildly spicy in terms of kink variety; though mainly through the perverse "skill" night activities, mind magic/alteration, and NG+ extras.
However there's a tonne of more vanilla options throughout from: anal to blowjobs to threesomes; with plenty of options and unique encounters to keep it from feeling repetitive

In conclusion: Its combination of fantasy, mystery, and romance make for an unforgettable adventure that is sure to leave a lasting impression. Play the timed version
