Pacing is acceptable as a short story. Dialogue could use a little work, but with the constrained timeframe there isn't much room for build up and exposition. I did end it wanting to find out what happens next, so I'd say that's a good sign. With more room for content, you can flesh out any weaknesses in the narrative and expand the chemistry between your characters. While the story was short, the characters felt whole enough to not be caricatures, there was visible character development, and they weren't innately offputting. I'd say you've done a good job.
