Unreal Engine - Completed - Last Hope [v1.0174] [Poolside Games]

Pretty solid game. Definitely a go-to for me. Where to start...

Gameplay: 7/10 - First-person open world exploration. It's an affection grind but paced pretty well. This is one of those games where the girls are on a schedule and you have to find them at the right time doing certain activities. At first learning that is pretty annoying, but given the content I think its definitely worth it.

Mechanics: 6/10 - You really don't do much in the encounters with the girls. Click to begin, then just "next" and move the camera. The POV camera is often in a worthless spot and you can't move around the secondary cameras. Not game breaking, but it's annoying in more than just a few scenes.

Graphics: 9/10 Great quality. Easily among the best on the site. The character models look great and more importantly this shit is unique and interesting. No other game looks like this.

Why not 10? Some of it's nitpicky, like bad texture/animation jobs where hair clips into the character model. But honestly... I just don't like inverted nipples. One character has them and I wish I could toggle that lol

Content: 8/10 - Plenty of it and very high quality. And the newest releases keep getting better.

Finaly an unreal tournament engine- made game that is realy good in it's plot, If the developer can remake the models it would be the greatest game

Best Unreal Engine game out there ! Story is meh, but all the animations and characters are great. It would be amazing to add more dreams with random girls. Controls are smooth and gameplay is fluent. Only thing that would be great is to make the option to skip an hour not with the bed but with some item from the inventory for example.

Sound needs to be more realistic but the game is still in development
All in all i like it very mutch. Since reviews are subgjective I can say that even if there are problems I feel it is the first game of this genre that I like so mutch.

The game that other game makers should take examples from this game.
- A character creation should be added. It would be perfect.
-Fully information about progress ex. what did you miss etc.
-This game has a lot of potentials.

Good animation and setting.

The game has a good way of showing you on what's new I.E. checklist and colors on the schedule.

Cons -
Don't like the MC's character face.
A bit of down time between waiting for characters to move to there next spots.

TLDR - It's a great game, hope to see more.

Finally a rare non-visual novel that looks very promising.
- It is quick to increase relationships;
- Quick to get to places;
- Has hidden events;
- There's only one lesbian event, I hope more will come.

The 3d environment coupled with the caracter movment and first person perspective really adds to the immersion.

Game still contains all the standard tropes and multiple camera angles for scenes and all are done very well.

playable but needs work, dont use the vile at 11pm or else you will soft lock the game, i permanently lost the camera for some reason after talking to adrianna asking her for pictures. One of the best porn games I've played, and I've played A LOT since around 2014 (not including ones like swfchan, otherwise we're talking 2006-2007).
This game offers a fully animated first person exploration instead of the standard renpy or RPG Maker.
Sure, it's a little laggy at first, but mess with the settings by reducing resolution, making it winowed, change anti aliasing and shadowing etc.

ANYWAY

Story:
You play as a guy stuck on a ship with his family and circumstances require you to use your sperm to fuel the ship.
That's it, it's nice and simple with character interactions added to it.

Animation:
The animation is pretty decent, but there are some things like camera and character models that take getting used to.
I can't comment much on this as I am unable to test max graphics fairly.
I wouldn't recommend trying this on an average PC.

Gameplay:
Can be annoyingly grindy at times and the frame rate shoots up in the bedroom area. Other than that, it's simple and straightforward.
No massive maps with exploring to do, just a few small ones.
Saveditor also works if you can't be bothered with the grind.

One of the best games this year. This game makes fun to play and the characters are awesome. This game have so much potential, and the artist should be keep this game alive, because he can reach very much attention after some time. This game will be one of the most downloaded and played games. Hopefully we get more Characters and finall vaginal sex in the next time.

Floating in space with unlimited food and other stuff with the only thing which will rescue you and the crew is sperm.

The game play is kind of interesting but the somewhat boring grind holds it back.
For a porn game it doesn't really shine through as the current sex scenes are kind of lame.
Speaking of shining, most sex scenes or nudity is too dark even with brightness set to max.
The camera angles are also kind of stupid as far as I'm concerned. I want to see some close ups of female genitalia!
One aspect of the game is to spy on your crew mates, the cameras you place are fixed at a current angle and focus which makes the whole thing kind of boring. I see that it's not realistic to have camera angles on a camera with a fixed location, but the other scenes have different angles.

Even tho' the incest has to be enabled by a patch which I didn't use the developer hasn't been bothered to clean up the text enough for this not being yet another "I fuck my family"-game.
So if anyone at Patreon actually followed up the games they host this game would probably be pulled.
That being said the animation tag got me here and the hope of incest being off if not using said patch I'm slowly regretting playing this game, however the tag in the OP is correct.

The banner image is false marketing as no such scene exist!

However the game does have potential and someday there will be more sex scenes and if the apparent incest is removed when NOT using the patch I'll update this review.
But for now version 5.0 only get 2/5

If there is any game worth paying for, its this one. You'll find tons of VN's, most of them built on Ren'Py, but this Unreal based, 3D free walking, space themed game not only has a TON of potential, but it also has surprisingly a lot of content and scenes to discover.

If you dont want to rewatch the same scenes over and over, and just want to see the new ones, the game will even tell you by having a red or green outline around the characters before you start an event.

The only grindy thing that could easily be removed from the game without anyone missing it, is the space mining minigame. Thankfully, it can be skipped by hacking the save file for resources (matter).

TL;DR;
Pros
- The models are amazing (NOT stock Unity assets as far as I can tell)
- The characters are distinct and interesting, each one with seemingly their own personality
- The sex scenes are arousing and offering you several points of view
- The pacing is pretty decent, starting slightly slow but progressing reasonably fast
- The space theme and overall rooms and corridors design is convincing enough, giving you the feel that you are on a spaceship (not to mention the windows)
- The moans of the characters are pretty good, not amazing, but very good
- The graphics are overall great

Cons
- The game may be a bit demanding, so older machines will struggle
- While the graphics are overall great, the game could do with some improvements here and there
- The space mining minigame is dull and repetitive, its a pointless grind imo
- ??? Cant find anything else....

I recommend it, and would recommend it again. Probably the best game (of its kind) I've played, by far.

Great game, plenty of content.
It knows what it is and it works because of it. You are in an isolated location with chick, you bang them because of "plot" and it works.
I like it.
I hope either in this game, or the next game we get to customize the looks of the characters, and perhaps a bit more interaction but overall its still a good game.

This is a full free roam 3D game with some RPG aspects: collect items, increase relationship levels and fulfilling some conditions to trigger some events.

Right now, in Version 3 Version 10 Version 14
Cons:
- Limited control of undressing for the girls. New scenes now allow you to undress the girls. Unfortunately older events didn't get updated.
- There are only 3 girls and customizing options are almost non existant limited to clothing (more clothing options added in version 14)
- The game starts a little bit grindy
- Camera control is a bit poor (Free Camera was added in version 14)

Pros:
- Free roam 3D
- Free camera sex scenes
- Concise story, not too much text
- Adequate amount and quality of lewd stuff. It focuses on foreplay, real sex is still incipient. Updates added a great amount of high quality content, including real sex.
- The game is in a playable state (not only playable, but also enjoyable) this early in the development process Great game; feels like it is almost finished.

This game has an interesting premise since survivalist space harems are the best harems. But I simply din't understand why this game is as highly regarded as it is.

First of all, there's the grind. You'll have to wait at least a week in the game before you can make any major breakthroughs in the story. In addition, though the NPCs all supposedly follow set schedules, half the time I: can't find any them to interact with; the other half of the time you get get tiny +2 or +3 relationship point increases that you can get maybe, twice a day.

Second, the graphics and POV. I know many people are excited about the Unreal engine and first-person sex. But for me, the constant bobbing and weaving of the NPC and the MCs' movement gives me motion sickness. I simply could not play this game for more than 10 in-game days. The characters are also not particularly attractive,and the H-scenes were not interesting.

Again, it's an interesting premise for a game that I wish more games would do. But Last Hope simply has too much grind, too much motion-sickness-inducing graphics, and not enough attractive characters or any real semblance of a story.

Firstly its made in UNREAL ENGINE!! Did you see any erotic game made with it? I have not!
Besides the engine.. There are sexy models of characters. Lets say Mc and a teen daughter of crew captain, as well some woman..
Even if base plotline about feeding the space ship with cum seems like the most ridiculous thing possible.. who cares. Its as good a reason as any for girls or women to fuck or in our case give a handjob... For now.
Its a promisiong position for all those thirsty for realtime 3D animation.

In general its a great game with many good points.. and hardly any bad ones, besides that its not finished.

This game promises so much, except the door bugs I didn't realize any bugs (maybe I didn't notice the ones existed) and the animations are just great to be honest.

The game play itself is another great thing. Think about all those VN games we just played without action other than the images, well this game brings it out on the action for your pleasure also the first person fact is real and it is doing a great job to immerse yourself with the game and lost in it just to try to get your relationships in a better state (Grinding isn't that hard really, it is somewhat moderate as for now, could've been a little bit easier tho).

I just hope there will be some various ways to get inside those panties. My favorite way to do so was molesting them while they sleep )
