RPGM - Onhold - KonoSuba: This lecherous World [v4] [The Dark forest]

The artstyle of this game is extremely cute and i find the game really funny, the game could use some balancing and could shorten the length of some missions but overall the game has a ton a potential

First off, the version number is very misleading, v2.0 means that this is the first update, after the initial v1.0 release.
There is like 20 minutes of "content", the game is mostly a walking simulator with terrible turn based "combat" here and there. Fights are long and boring, just press enter and pray your characters don't miss, there is zero danger of defeat in these fights, balance is terrible, some of the skills are bugged (or their description is bullshit).
Music is very repetitive and annoying after 1 minute, would be better without it altogether.
Game started in Russian for me, it was very fun trying to find the option to turn it into English.
Art is mediocre, it's hit or miss I guess, some people like it I guess based on the other reviews and comments.
If the developer doesn't want to revamp the combat, I genuinely don't understand why they didn't make this a VN instead, players wouldn't lose out on anything. Maybe the game time would reduce to 10 minutes if you want to read all of the broken English, but that's it.

I'm angry at myself for wasting my time downloading this.

Excellent game, excellent art style. Quite a nice blend of a parody game with quality pornographic content. Lots of references, a better gameplay loop than some other projects by the same devs. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys an engaging story with some nice boobies

A nice parody game, graphics and character models are good, the game has an interesting and simple user interface. The combat system reflects the reality of characters from the original anime universe quite well. The characters' personalities are nice and appealing, and there really isn't much to complain about yet, other than there isn't much content. I played the second version of the game and to be honest, the Darkness doing handmade work in the guise of a prostitute gave me a lot of pleasure. I hope the game gets the support it needs to continue.

but even if it make monster hunter look like a story driven game, the game should still give to the not too picky fan of konosuba a good time when it get around v10.0. or something like that

As of version 1 this game is short and funny parody of anime " Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!" but with erotic spin(more hands on). No sex content currently present and not sure if it will be.

From how the game is played it feels like it is a small project by dev, and as such the amount of content would be quite limited. And in the end it will look like number of short quests, on which player can go and see some erotic staff while completing them.

The reason I currently rate the game 4 stars is because the erotic content is too light in this version, I bet a lot of people who both watched the anime this game is based on and visit f95zone came in contact with some doujinshi about the characters from it at some point... And they know how hellishly hot it can get, that's just not something you can "unsee", so yea, I have some high expectations for any 18+ game based on this anime.

What else important I can say about the game is that it's not "stand alone", or to say simply it's not meant to be played by people who never watched anime it's based on. because besides being a parody of anime the game doesn't do anything else, it doesn't tell you about world of the game, no info about main characters, why they are acting like that, why the game mechanics work so, everything you see will not make any sense if you didn't see anime. And as such it won't be any fun.

So if you decided to check out the game, all I can do is to advise you to check anime first before trying it, or give up on it, since you won't be able to enjoy it much anyway.

do you like rpg games where your entire team and every enemy misses 50% of their attacks? yes even bosses.

do you like rpgs where spells tell you they do something, but in reality do something else? (hey this spell heals ALL your teammates from EVERY negative status besides death... oh poison? yeah sorry we forgot to mention the spell doesnt cleanse that aswell)

do you like rpgs where theres no balance whatsoever? hey your lv 1 main character has 450 hp... your 2nd party member ALSO LECVEL ONE has 9999 hp. your 3rd has 4500 and your 4th has 450 (not to mention mp being a complete mess) not to mention your 4th char has 1000 mp and a spell that happens to cost 1000 mp and can 1shot anything (yes even bosses)

do you like rpgs where you get no exp?

then this is the game for you! but if you do not like these things, then you shouldnt download this piece of shit. dont get fooled because its based on an anime you like. its absolute trash, its terrible and i hope you guys like this review because i didnt just take a bullet for yall, i took a shotgun blast to the balls for you with this terrible "game"


ps: according to the comments in the thread, this game is a copy paste of a game thats a copy paste of another game. and all of them suck just as much.
