I'm also experiencing the same issues with the first escort mission. The game also crashes when I leave the Colosseum.
Current version is buggy as hell and unplayable. I followed the crack as instructed and playing on Windows 11 if that helps.

you must launch the game through the itch desktop app though, the website tries to send a confirmation email when logging in with this info, and the game itself is still locked on the title screen if you don't use the app to launch it

"Install" and "Launch" are unmistakeningly big red buttons in the lower right corner.
The app ist just a combination of a simple Browser with DRM and gaming features. Easy to navigate, big buttons to click on.

Here the old link with mostly Every Character Punishment. The first link doesn't have Aquilo. The second is 2 parts of Aquilo's punishment.
There also mostly all the CG and the very old cracked version. That version doesn't have the date system.

Unity introducing new fee attached to game installs (as high as $0.20 per install) after a revenue/install threshold .
And there are few developers thinking changing Engine if this keep up. I hope this doesn’t effect this game development. I can’t bear another revise version for new engine.

I talked about How Shaddy Unity is when they tried to include Malware into their Engine (Diligent business will never do such thing), But my posts was deleted as the Mods said I was reaching.
And see how far we fall off now.

Really, Any dev using Unity should looking for Alternatives even when migration will be painful.
Even if Unity walks back, it still shows they are not Trustworthy and Hate their Developers with passion, and only care about squeezing maximum money.
Not to mention, HOW do they intend to collecting the Data? Any Privacy Breaching indication?
It's directly terrible for both Devs and End Users.
