You do not have to click anything, you can see the items you need sparkling.

Nah I checked it. My game was bugged. I just reloaded another save file and it did work. Whenever I entered the room and got closer to the lamp it wouldn't sparkle but I got it fixed. Thank you though

u prob have a bugged game, id advice you forget the story and play the scenes, this can be done by using the codes to the penthouse that has access to all the new scenes and previous scenes.
to do this start with
pressing L on your keyboard when the game is open
click on kittybox
click on reedem code
and input code 78692
once done open of L again scroll to kittybox and open penthouse and you have access to all the characters in game that have a scene.

you have to go interact with the grates on the upper floor if memory serves
