When I follow a thread, it’s to follow the discussion; I don’t really care about new ratings that come up. Is there a way to follow a thread’s discussion without getting notifications whenever someone rates it?
Also, there seems to be a weird interaction whereby, when I don’t read a watched thread up to the latest page, it stops showing up in my notifications (this much is fine), but I still get notified for the ratings, even if I don’t view them. I keep getting 25+ notifications whenever I log in, with half of them being ratings for threads I haven’t been up to date on in months, and it’s really annoying.
