hello and merry christmas everyone,

i hope, i am in the right section with my posting here.

i am like a pro in gaming adult games but i am a completely blank sheet of paper in building a game.

in cause of a heavy cerebral palsy i have to use a wheelchair my whole life, and i am writing a story about this, and having no chances in life. but the computer opened the door for me, i write blogs, concert reviews and so on and i can make my living with it.
now i wish to create a game in a world with no barriers and with a disabled mc.
why an adult game? because most of the other people dont noticed that disabilities have this needings, too. more than that, the sexuality is based on hormones and not on nerves and bones, so when bones and nerves are damaged and you are disabled, the sexuality is the only thing, which is going normal. so sex is for us maybe more important than you think.

the 2nd reason why to make an adult game is, if you want to be a gamechanger, you have to do other things than the rest of the world is doing.
of course we can be bratty, devilish, horny and being a badass, but nobody would say this in public, because "you cant speak bad about disabilitiies". but as a disabled person in a game, i can do that, and thats a big step in being normal.

the 3rd reason to make this adult game, is that disabilities are invisible on computergames. we have games with vikings, monsters, orcs, tentacles and so on, but not with disabilities, and i think, it is time to fill this gap, especially the virtual world should be more inclusive than the real one.

i am good in gaming, in writing, in creating new ideas and in disabled stuff, but i cant code or make graphics.

and now i need help of the codec-pros: what would be the best code for this kind of game? HTML, renpy, unity or anything else, and why?
my idea is a sandboxx game with good and bad decissions the player can make.
Every thought of this project will be appreciated.

as you can imagine, this is project of the bottom of my heart. of course, if there is some money to earn with it, i will take it, but this is not my focus on the game.

at the end i wish to apologize my bad english. i am from germany and i learnt english in school long time ago, so it is far away from perfect.

so long

Hello, since you already pretty much have envisioned your story(script), you simply need tools to portray that, for something like that:

Go with Renpy. Learning the ropes will take some time, but it's not entirely impossible and is perfect for such story to be told. Renpy alone is just a tool to place different parts and stick them together, you will need to venture to 3d modeling world to make your scenes, since I don't see any mention of art in your arsenal, and it's in a way easier to create once you get a hang of it, but then again quality will depend on the power of machine you will be working on. It's still manageable.

If you think your project would need more advanced mechanics and functionality go with Unity, coding itself is complicated until you start understanding the fundamentals and grasp the concept of it, its really simply a problem solving thing. The internet wide and there's plenty of guides, tips basically everything you need to get started.

Godot is clean and growing daily. But shines mostly at 2d game style which again, leans towards artsy style. Would also need to learn some coding fundamentals.

For even more simplistic approach but at same time more "artsy" approach go with Rpgmaker, it could be made but depends on creator afterall.

HTML, if you aim to use rl porn footage's/gifs works best. And learning to code it take few days.

To be honest with you, pick whichever you are comfortable with, it will be complicated and hard at the very beginning until you learn to place puzzle pieces correctly until something decent will start happening.
Trust me on this part, sometimes it's harder to come up with good/unique story than make an actual game.

Good luck on your project with whichever engine you will decide to land on and start working, it will surely find it's audience as long as story is good.

Also Merry Christmas, Rolliman o/

i think coding and getting pics will be the mainproblem for me. i do the story with a speaking software called dragon. this is ok.
but i tried html-coding with dragon and the result was a total carcrash, because if i need coding lines with special letters like // than dragon will prompt slash slash and the whole coding line was wrong. l am sure, there is a way to solve thís kind of problem, but i dont figured it out yet. so if anybody knows a way, let me know, please.
the pics for my story are the other problem. i lived them all, and there are all in my brain, but how do i get these pics in the computergraphic?
FOR EXAMPLE.
(this happened real)

i was during a warm day with an escortlady in amsterdam. during the day she said, i cant walk anymore. so she sits on my lap to take a rest. a few minutes later i had a boner and she was smiling.and i said lets have some fun.
she said we were in the centre of the city, we cant fuck here.
but i insists, of course we can. take off your slip, sit back on my lap again and put my boner in you and let your skirt fall over it. i do the rest. she did it.
after this i startet my electric wheelchair and i drove all the old town roads with cobblestone sections. it was a very intensive experian...................
this picture and many more i have in mybrain, but how to let them out?

No, you're starting this wrong. You do not ask other people what engine you should use, you should find the answer yourself after writing a Game Design Document which is the first step in game making.
If you have never written one, or do not know what that is, google it. There are templates, too. There's no right way of making one, so feel free to customize it to your needs, but it is essential because it gives you a whole overview of your whole project, and that's when you'll know what engine it needs (also based on your knowledge, and willingness to learn).

I would say go with Ren'Py. You should see some of the idiots who pump out a low quality Ren'Py game and still manage to develop a following. You are different though since you are doing this out of passion. Ren'Py will allow you to use the DAZ store in order to buy or create/customize models and by combining this with Ren'Py which uses the most basic scripting you can easily develop a popular porn game for any genre.

Check it out;

The challenge of materializing the pictures can feel daunting without the right skill set.

Winterfire offered valuable advice, however a bit challenging to begin with.
He is not wrong to advise it, but he has years of experience and is more familiar with tools. While you don't.

As you're navigating this creative process, the first step is defining how you want to present your game.
Assess your current skill level. If you're uncertain, experimenting with different engines is a good start.

Given the limited information available about your envisioned game, trying out engines like the ones I suggested might be helpful.

Start small, create a basic scene in Ren'Py, using random Daz models, and craft a simple dialogue interaction.

Asking for a detailed GDD at this stage, when you're still unfamiliar with the tools, won't be productive. Once you've gained familiarity with the engine, you can then make a structural briefing about your project to maintain focus and guide your progress.

Your ideas will naturally expand as you become more proficient with the tools. It's crucial to understand what you're working with and its capabilities before delving into detailed planning.

As for now, find yourself and understand what area of skills you need to improve, to make this happen.

I strongly believe you will make something decent once you get through this struggle.

Good luck

i see, i have to learn a lot more than writing a story to do a game.
who said, school is over when you are over 50 yeaars old, so here we go.
are they any starter versions of the different tools, or learning sections?

Well there's always Recruitment & Services section of the forum, to fill up the gaps or to save up time, while investing before hand, but then again. I have no experience with this, I don't know. How affective it is.

As for where to start, really depends on which you decide to go on with, and then again what sort of approach is more convenient for you, either visual(video) or readable(book).

I would go for renpy, but it really depends how complex you wish to make your game. After tinkering little bit on your own and if you feel comfortable with it's outcome stick with it.

Renpy, for example has its own DSL (domain-specific language). Renpy is implemented in Python, and you can easily use Python within your Renpy programs, but the language you use to write a Renpy VN is specific to Renpy.

So learning fundamentals of Python, would definitely expand your knowledge about coding and it's capabilities and if things would go south with Renpy you can always go for Godot.

Keep in mind learning that is optional just to straighten the knowledge, depending how complex of a game you will decide to create. Python will help in a long run. DSL alone is plentiful to make simple "decision" branching game.

In reality if you learn one coding language it will be much easier to migrate to other, since you will understand the concept of coding better.

As for actual material, there's plentiful resources online both in video guides and downloadable books on subject. Udemy has some good courses  And there are separate books for how to learn actual Renpy. What might be easier for me to read/understand might be different for you. a good starting point.

It is never too late to learn; age should never be an indicator restricting self-improvement. :)

Ps. Python is relatively easier compared to C# for example.

When it comes to the visual part, probably the easiest path is to use Daz3D as others has suggested. Although the navigating and posing in the program itself might not be the most accessible.
Maybe try Daz and see if it's something for you, otherwise some alternative options might be to work together with someone who knows art, commission someone, or use AI.

If you're making a Renpy game you could keep the art to a minimum and , with or without a few rendered pictures of special scenes here and there.
Or if art becomes a big pain point, making a pure text Html game is also a decent option (you can do that in renpy too, but html is a better format for pure text imo).

Also I highly recommend against making your first game a sandbox. Try to make your first game as small and simple as possible and try to finish it, it will help you A LOT to know the whole process before you commit to make a bigger and/or more complicated game.

I wish you good luck in your gamedev journey!

so it could be a good way, to do a side project as an own one, but with the chance for a later using, too. as a disabled i am a pro to keep the work easy as possible, because i know that i dont have the energy-level like other people.

If it were that easy, games would be popping up way more frequently daily ;d

Game dev is not easy. There exist shortcuts in whole progress but something will be broken along the way. Which even professionals face daily.

Optional: Find someone who has beafy pc, and has knowledge how to produce decent scenes with daz/blender for renpy.
That is the fastest way.
The rest would only remain for you to stitch up all the elements together via renpy.

It's that kind of dilemma that exists, its either one can't produce good story but is efficient with other tools, or vice versa. That's where self improvement comes to play, on learning new skill set. It's kinda mandatory.

Just stating the facts to face it prepared.

Acquire the tools, start experimenting with them, identify areas of improvement, and creatively fill in the gaps by exploring alternative methods.

Also pretty much all what Spicy above wrote:

making a pure text Html game is also a decent option
