How to fullscreen RPGM games and use mouse controlling?

I have a couple of RPGM games, especially Ideology in Friction, that cannot be neither fullscreened or controlled with the mouse... Is there a workaround for that, or am i stuck with the small window and keyboard controlling?

For Ideology in Friction and many other games with the older RPGM engine you can use F5 to resize the window size, or Alt+Enter to go fullscreen. I noticed you have to use left Alt for that one.
You can also press F1 and select "Launch in Full Screen"
I usually stick with resizing the window, since it stretches in full screen and messes up my resolution.

Unless it's RPGM MV there is usually no mouse support and I don't know of a workaround for that. I just use a Ducky Pocket numpad with programmable buttons with one profile optimized for RPGM games. So the idea of mouse control went out of the window a long time ago.

Enabling GPU scaling in the graphics driver might solve issues with stretched out fullscreen on wide format displays.

In this example, alt+enter rendered 640x480 in fullscreen with black borders (AMD Radeon).
A caveat in that scaling might blur the text in certain games.

AMD Radeon software
Settings >> Display
GPU Scaling [Enabled]

Nvidia control panel
Display >> Adjust desktop size and position
Perform scaling on: [GPU] (drop-down menu)
