That's like the least problematic part that would be. Deciphering spaghetti code would be the far more difficult task, and usually better done from scratch.
That's entirely on the person being able to recreate the characters in koikatsu.

No, I first played the game recently (my first post in this thread, 14th of march is when I finished) so I have not seen anything like that, 400 pages is way too much to go through, and frankly, most likely pointless to do.

Yeah, it was like 3 years ago and I think it was deleted after a day or two. For sure the download link won't work after this long anyway.

My only real worry is this:
-The game came out Dec. 2019
-The last update was May 2023
-Currently almost a year since the last update
-We're still in the PROLOGUE!!!! Not even on Chapter 1 yet...

To be exact, Komi has only 'completed' under 1/3 of 'Chapter 1'. People been waitin' 4 years almost 5 months for the ACTUAL update ( that snowy update from last year doesn't count) and that's all that's 'claimed' to be finished. Theoretically, it will take, minus Divine Intervention, 8 to 10 years to finish the entire game at the rate Komi is 'working'.
Be worried. Be very worried.

I don't follow the development of this game that closely, so I am probably lacking a lot of critical information, but from my point of view, it seems like the dev just got way too ambitious and since as far as I know it's just him doing all the work the progress is really slow. It doesn't seem like he is deliberately milking his supporters.
And why do you think that an uneducated, uninformed half guess of an opinion has any merit? The progress isn't slow, it's non-existent, the progress was scrapped to be remade for nebulous reasons and no update was done in years.

For the same reason everyone here thinks their opinion matters lol. No one knows for sure what he is doing behind the scenes. The only thing people know is that he claims he is working on the game even though it hasn't been updated for a long time.
Accept that the people here base their opinions on what can be seen (which is fuck all), you literally came in, said you don't know shit and didn't bother the check what is visible or learn anything and then believed your opinion is worth sharing.

I mean, you literally came in, saw that he said he don't know shit, deemed his opinion to be not only worth reading, but replying to twice. What does that say about you then?
If you want my 50 cents: Accept that this is not a major newspaper but a porn game forum. Uninformed, uneducated half guesses will be there and there is nothing that will stop it. Ignore it or be better. But if something that small riles you up that much, to answer in that tone, perhaps you are not cut out to be here in the first place.
