Help finding application type name

Sometimes I play game of a certain application type but I don't know the name of it.
Also can you use cheat engine on these?

Basically Chromium (Google Chrome core) + Node.js.
RPG Maker MV, Visual Novel Maker and Tyranobuilder are built on top of it.

Yes, you can use CheatEngine, but there are other solutions to edit the variables. For instance, for MV, there is a particular plugin.
Also, if you launch the game through NW.js SDK and you press the F12 key, you can edit the variables on run-time through the JS console.

Thanks, that was really helpful and would have been easier than what I did.
Basically had to hook CE up to the third process (similar to RPG Maker) and the Value was 2xN+1, that's why I didn't find what I searched for at first.
