Hey hey hey! Zachy here.

So... Basically I'm searching for some hard/grindy adult games like Eroico, MoGi: Origins, Dungeon & Maid, AlienQuest: Eve, MilkyQuest, Legend of Queen Opala: Origin (!!), and Con-Quest: Pokécon.

When I refer to hard games, I mean sidescrollers that require strategy and skill to be played. Beat em' up are not included here.
Aaand when I refer to grindy games, I mean long games like Legend of Queen Opala that have a lot of content and preferibly achievements; or games like Con-Quest: Pokécon that make grinding fun, and require a LOT of it to fight enemies.

Have you played , made by the devs of Eroico? I recall it being pretty challenging.

Edit: Also, though not really an adult game by any stretch, try Holdover

Yup. I did play Kurovadis some time ago. Actually... I have played almost every game made by the devs of the games I've mentioned in the OP.

Holdover looks like a good game, I'll be sure to try it.

Hm. As far as porn platformers go, have you played ? It's not THAT difficult, but there's plenty of grind involved (and a lot of it's actually optional, if you don't really feel like grinding). It's the sequel to a similar game that may or may not have been translated, which has more of an open-map feel than this one. I dunno if that one's on this site, but you can probably find it somewhere by RJ number after checking DLSite.

If you do go for it, I think you oughta be sure you're playing the latest version even if it's untranslated. I remember that one version I played had an annoying or gamebreaking crash bug in some optional content.

There's at least one other side-scroller I played a while back that I enjoyed, but I have no idea what the name was, don't have it on this computer, and haven't really tried looking around for it. One of those Japanese Schoolgirl with a Sword side-scrollers, but with some actual exploration--reminded me just a little bit of the NES Strider game, if that rings any bells for you.

(Space Escape might be worth looking at for you, if it's ever finished.)

I do remember playing Princess YUKA, but I had no clue about Space Escape. Thx for the suggestion!

Yeah, just a note though: Space Escape's had kind of a DNF-style development process. Dude's thinking of changing to a game development engine away from Flash, which would be great for the overall game in my opinion but would probably slow development down a lot. It's already pretty slow. Guy doesn't seem to want to take money for it, so it's not a Patreon-drag situation.

@Zachy you might want to give a try...the first few hours are grindy. the MC gets tired afrer a certain amount of actions and the stats get halved. which leads to the risk of entering a fight when your stats are low, certain enemies apply debuffs like poison and infection that persist even after the fight is done. there was also a hunger system but the players complained so the dev had to put it on hold.
it has logical puzzles (those bring some Icewind dale 2 nostalgia) and others where you have to time your movement to avoid traps (for example in a dungeon there's a bridge made of ice and you have to walk on it both ways, but some pieces are breaking)
