I'm missing 2 CG. Both from Grace: "defeat her" and "sell her during her main story". I tried to buy her and do all dungeons with her or sell her after enslaving her... but it didn't work. I also tried to let her remain a slave and do arena rock-paper-scissors... but she never appeared. I have no clue how to proceed.

As for the combat, take the M.Swordsman class. Get enough Reputation to hire a Battle Nun as a partner (you'll learn her skills (she gives you 1 more than the regular Nun). And with the money, hire 10 regular Nuns (not Battle Nuns).

Now clear an easy dungeon (e.g. the Thieves' Cave or the Hunting Plains southeast) like 4 times. Take control of the Battle Nun and use her light spell. That's what you want to learn from her. 3 mana, making it spammable, autotargeting and big AoE. Also, all the Nuns will keep you alive... the funny thing is, the Healing spell actually also deals damage but the range is very short. So if you've run out of SP, you can just walk into the enemy and watch them die from the Nuns killing them (right click to move during battle).

Once you've done those few dungeon runs, check your Battle Nun's Trust Lvl. It should raise by 1 for each clear. If it's maxxed out, learn her skills, then equip the light spell. Put every level up bonus into Intelligence. Soon enough, you'll be spamming the light spell when a battle starts, clearing it in less than a few seconds. At the point I had reached, 3 clicks and the battle was over, less than half a second (except when there was a tankier unit I couldn't one-shot, sadly).

All the other builds are far inferior for two simple reasons: you can't actually be faster than that, even when using the best physical skills. And two, the battle combat is bugged--taking damage from an autoattack will cause the unit (ally or enemy) not to take damage from other autoattacks for almost a full second. That means when enemies are ganging up on you, doesn't matter if they all hit you at the same time. You'll only take 1 hit. Same if you're ganging up on the last remaining enemies. That's probably why most people found battles to be bad.

Anyway, that will let you focus on clearing the content pretty easily. Now if only Harald could walk faster...

The code execution cannot proceed because d3dx9_43.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

It did not fix the problem :cautious:
Anyone got a fix?

You should not buy Grace and fight in the arena until she appears (I had to go there about 50 times)

If I understand correctly, after clearing out the thieves cave with Platina, Nia should attack you in the Town of adventure, after defeating her, go to the sand ruins and help her, then go to the slave city where the bandits will attack her (if you lose this fight, 1SG opens)

50 times?! Yeah, I already had given up by then. I kinda guessed that's what I had to do but come on... those rock-paper-scissors battles are terrible. Hiding the content behind such low RNG is bad design... Thanks for the info though.

Orc 2 is a world map loss against orcs. Just accept bandits suppresion quests until you get orcs instead of humans. Also works with escort missions IIRC. In both cases, just lose the battle.

For romantic partner, I believe you first need to have Harald wait for the next season with at least 2 men in her group. Let them have a go at her, then talk to you male partner and select "sex". I had full trust level.

I can't guarantee that's how you do it (I couldn't tell Harald to have sex with that guy again, for some reason) but those are some of the steps I followed at the very least.

After not buying Grace, rest in the inn for one whole season (multiple days) then go to arena and win.
