I think Fresh Woman is great, the Stroy is great, the graphics are great.
However, you notice that the German translation was largely done by machine, so many of them don't make sense in German or are worded incorrectly.
Without English voice acting I wouldn't have understood the game.

the model suit my taste, the game enviroment is well develope. But the expression on the model face not really well. Trying to see how the story going. the clothes of the models really nice and change usually, i like that.

    Version: Season 2 Ep.2

Freshwomen is weird. on the surface it seems like a 5 stars game and it took me quite a while to figure why I disliked it.

You play as a young man who lost his memory in an accident, after regaining some of the memory back you decide to move back to the town you grew up in to enroll to college and to search for MC's dad disappearances.
Soon enough you find yourself meeting all sorts of LI's, they seem pretty diverse and interesting, but more on that later.
The plot is pretty whacky but written well enough, the dialogues are up to par, everything is very pretty and the sex scenes are long, animated, and plenty.

Sounds like a 5 star review so far, doesn't it? but if you look closely the cracks starts to show.
You get no chance to care for the LI's, you spend some time with them but at no point did I care for any of them, they feel shallow, almost robotic at times, they only exist to serve their part in MC's life and it shows.
Part of it can be attributed to the fact things move quickly, too quickly. you meet a girl in a caffee and before even realising it you're part of her dance crew and sleep in her dance studio. you meet a girl in a book store and in a moment she's leading the investigation into MC's dad, it doesn't feel organic or real.
The other part is about the characters only existing to serve their role in MC's life, there are background stories, the LI's have interests and hobbies, but we never actually see that, every single interaction is a way for the LI's to progress the main plot, leads to sex almost immediately or is used to reinforce the specific LI's one single characteristic (frusrated spouse, nerdy investigator, bitchy, playful, etc), once again it all felt synthetic and caused me to disengage.
Well, there's a third thing actually. these are freshwomen, they are young, allegedly inexperienced, yet every single one of them is a horned up sex fiend that is an expert in sucking cock and providing pleasure. not only it is weird, it feels like a cheap, pointless porno.

It's like everything is made (in a very rushed way) to either progress the main plot or lead to a sex scene, there's nothing in between, no random casual interactions, no small moments to make the characters feels more real or to form any real connection to them.

So overall, on a quick glance FreshWomen is technically pretty amazing, it looks good, it sounds good, its technically well written, but its just as shallow as it is pretty, and at times feels dry and soulless.
Definitely give it a go if you like pretty pictures and don't mind skipping dialogue / gallery mod.

Great quality renders and animated sex scenes for those who fap playing these games. Other than that, I think the game doesn't have much to offer. The MC is pretty dumb and has 0 charisma. I personally really dislike the exaggerated facial expressions; maybe they're supposed to be funny but end up being cringy and childish imo. The story is so predictable 'cause it's the same concept of many other VNs: A kid whose parent disappeared, and he is investigating and blahblah, boring. The girls are beautiful, but most (if not all) are pretty shallow and lack a personality; the interactions with them feel so superficial and fake. The game is full of clichés as well, like the classic hot landlady who is ignored by her husband and is only attracted to the MC thanks to the third leg he has as cok (because all women love giganosaurus coks, right?). Very mediocre VN if you want a rich story with funny and interesting characters to have realistic interactions with. If you're just looking for gorgeous girls to have sex with, then this is the VN for you.

So let me start off praising the game for what it excels in, which is mostly season 1.

I recently ran through a new play through due to voicing being added to season 1 and I will say that for the most part, it is done very well. The actresses fit their models, and lean in to the roll pretty nicely. Sometimes there are differences in the tone used to voice a line and the actual context and scenario presented, but it isn't too jarring, mostly something to point out

Renders I believe are also very well. Designs of the characters in an H game is what makes people play it or not, and all the characters so far are very great design wise, even better than most other games I would say. It also feels that episodic focus on each girl lines up well and fits within the narrative and pace it moves at, as there has never really been a moment where I thought, "Why is there so much of this chick when there is none of this one". Only case I found that in was Susan, which before, wasn't a big issue as it made sense narrative wise, but as of recent is much more disappointing.

Story is going to be the second most important thing as that is what keeps players around waiting for new content and willing to get to the juicy stuff. Which is why I am happy to say season 1 storytelling was done pretty well. Nothing revolutionary, just the main plot of the father mystery and sub plot of day to day college endeavors and pleasures. There are certain times where plot points can appear and not be mentioned when should and vice versa, but it isn't to an amount that is detrimental.

Overall, I would say season 1 was an 8.7/10

Now here is where the rating drops

First off, the voicing itself I feel is the main thing that keeps this season up to now on it's legs. It doesn't bring anything supreme to the table, but it does continue to be as good as the first season. Same faults, but flaws will appear.

When it comes to rendering, specifically character design however, it seems to have all went downhill. There are many people saying it is great, and many others saying it's horrendous. I believe I sit right in the middle with my opinion being it feels uncanny or awkward in certain scenes. Facial expressions have gotten extremely exaggerated in certain scenes in episode 2 where they feel unnatural.
My main problem with this however, and probably the issues most people have with the change in rendering to characters, is why? In season 1, it was already very good, and I do understand the goal to achieve more realistic visuals, but if you have very positive feedback on 1 of the 2 main things people play the game for, changing that is something that needs to be done carefully. I have seen the polls of voting for the changes, but most of the renders didn't need change in the first place. Now it compromises a major part of consumers decision to play the product, and the worst part of it is that the old renders are through most of the game, so if a player looks at this from a face value, and never played this before, they will see the the first, older promotional material and if they enjoy it, once they do go through the game, they will end up with having to make that choice again, and unfortunately I have seen many comments on players dropping the game because they dislike the newer style, and I don't blame them. I do think Freshwomen should have it's own style, and I strongly believe it achieved that with what it had in season 1. There is a chance for revisions to be made and it's good this shift was made earlier as opposed to deeper in plot, as it can always be changed or potentially reversed. Unfortunately, I doubt episode 2 will get a revision on it's rendering to match season 1, but it is still a possibility I do think should be considered if the game wants to have long term success.

Unfortunately, there is another issue in the writing. Now with season 2, the story seems very packed with content and not in a good way. It isn't filled with time to play, but more it tries to cram as much plot and writing as it can, which makes it feel very rushed and also non consequential, or straight up stupid. The father of the MC being introduced this early [assuming the game plans for minimum 3 seasons with 5 episodes] was concerning, but it could've been a larger plot device, with the father being much more of and antagonist than I thought. That notion was quickly destroyed. Season 2 went in depth with the father but felt liked it glossed over the motive. Major discoveries were made in quick succession that changed perspective on the father, and before I knew it, the episode ended with the father gone, the conflict seemingly resolved, and even reinforced this idea at the start of episode 2 with Sam. That's it. That was what the main motive of season 1 led up to. With the main plot point being wrapped, only one remained. It might not really be the end of the father, but so many truths were revealed that at this point, opening up that plot thread again would be a mess, or at least, very empty and would need to force bullshit and spontaneous writing. Regardeless, that means the college plot point is left. And I thought that spending time with the main 4 girls, which 3 go to the college at this point, with most side girls joining aswell, you would THINK that the story would focus on the girls. Nothing with Chloe, as she had the spotlight in episode 1 and I think was honestly the ONLY good thing done. Maybe some time with Sue or Alyssa as we saw. But nope, instead it was centered around working at a night club, while also pimping girls out. Then throughout the whole episode, we did see Alyssa, but with the combination of rendering and writing, it just felt lackluster compared to pimping girls and fucking Gabby. There wasn't even small talk with Julia, or Chloe which back in season 1, there would be focus on 1 character and a side girl, with small convos with the rest, but it seems it lost that element which makes the story feel more narrow and not as enticing. Even now, the other major plot point of going to college, which is IMPLIED IN THE NAME of the game "FRESHWOMAN", seems to be in jeopardy aswell. Now it seems like the focus is turning from mystery with a fun college life to "Living In A Brothel", which isn't a bad game or story, but to make a shift that drastic and sudden? It feels like lazy writing, it feels like the narrative team wanted and had sooo much to work with, that they wanted to put in as much as they could while still maintaining integrity and a story easy to follow. Instead, the crammed in as much as they could and realized, they had TOO much to go off on, and minimized it to a point where all those things that could've been much bigger and more impactful, just got introduced and brushed off due to desire to wanting to work on the next thing. I get it that the devs would want us to recieve as much content possible, especially if high amounts of passion and excitement are behind it, but compromising 80% or more of your game, split in two subjects by these poor decisions is very dissapointing and hurts both player, and creator as we don't recieve a product we enjoy, and you don't produce a product that sells.

    Overall, season 2 was a 3.1/10

Of course there always will be fans for any product, including me. While I have my gripes, I do really enjoy the game, and replaying it made me reignite the flame I had when I first played, but if this is what's to come in future, I'm not sure if I will be able to continue. Of course, it's still early, so change is best made now, but also remember that if something is done well, change isn't always neccessary. Afterall, this is still at it's core, an H game, so it doesn't take much to grow a fanbase, but this is probably one of the harder hitters in terms of popular H games, and it would be a real shame to see it fall before it even reaches it's peak, if it hasn't already reached it in season 1.

This is a tough review to write. On one hand, the renders and animations are outstanding. On the other hand, what good is an animation if you can't reach a climax because the scenario is just not believable. I mean, there has to be a small amount of immersion and the writing of this novel gives no immersion. There is really no build up before everyone is naked and the MC has some stupid look on his face. I don't think I have ever disliked a MC as much as the one in this novel (bad writing + weird as fuc$ facial expressions). Just, no. Voice acting is good, but if the dialogue sucks, voicing it does not help. If you are looking for quick release to animations, as good as they are, these animations will never compare to free porn. Such is life.

The character modeling design is very outstanding, and the voice of the female character was updated not long ago, but the disadvantage is that the story is very lack of logic, and the dialogue content is empty, 4/5

Everyone is raving about the graphics and I have to say they are way over rated. I would call them immersion breaking and lazy. The first episode was espcially bad with that "library filled with history books" which was just like 5 books over and over. Also having to hand in paper work at the college, thank god those random math papers got in on time. The graphics should make sense for the scene and show what is described.

When I first played the game I thought the story seemed like it could be interesting trying to find out what happened to your dad surrounded by people lying to you, and then I didn't play it for a while.....It seems the story has fallen apart. The game is more like a kinetic novel where you have the odd choice that says " have sex, yes or no?" Because no choices seem to change anything.

The actual story itself was never perfect with a protagonists only defining quality being dance dance revolution, but some of the earlier episodes were better before we got deeper into the mystery and the MC just started believing and doubting people no matter what choices you make.

The audio is one of the strangest things about this game. The game is fully voice worked and is a great example of why vn's don't need voice work. Thanks for the mute options. And if you have the voices on the background music is so quiet in comparison you can barely hear it.

The graphics are vibrant and colorful, making the experience visually appealing and captivating. In addition, the music and sound effects perfectly complement the atmosphere of the game and its animations improve with each update, you are the best.

Renders are top tier, not absolute peak but just under which is great.

Game feels very polished and professionally handled which you can't say about a lot of the genre. The polish alone elevates it to a must play IMO.

A good game, four stars is probably right around where it belongs.
The visuals are great. Renders and framing are all really well done. The animations are great too.
The characters are all decently written and the game is written by someone with a good command of the English language. That being said the narrative itself is just average. There is some mystery and a bit of drama but it doesn't do enough narratively imo to push this into top tier category.
The sex scenes are very well done and have the added bonus of decent VA to go along with the excellent animations.
Overall a solid college harem game that is recommend for pretty much everyone

Excelent game with a lot of potential. Dev is very active and trying his best to bring the best experience possible to the players. Hope to see more and faster updates, while maintaining the quality of the renders.

Beautiful renders, interesting start to the story. Will play more.
For me personally it has the usual "problem" of having too many women with too big breasts but.. at least it has some cuties with smaller ones too!

The character designs look amazing and original. One of the cleanest and best renders so far. The story is quite catching and interesting. Playing the game right now!

Something's off. Dude used to deliver + 1000 renders per update when he didn't have the team he has now. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I remember there are about 15 pplz in his team atm. The updates are taking more time because of the 4K obsession and we got + 300 or +400 renders in the last two updates. This isn't a troll, but I feel like I'm missing something. I don't understand. I really like his work, but he's betting too much on quality since several months, if not + 1 year.

Truth be told : I prefer the time when he had only a few pplz and delivered more loaded updates. When you try to get too close to the sun, you end up getting burned.

Decent story (so far...still a bit early on), beautiful LIs, and high quality renders. I usually prefer smaller breasts, but I know most prefer these over a more realistic mix of body types. While I've only seen the dream animations, they look very promising.

Just a wonderful game. I never get bored playing it. It is hillarous and the characters are pretty exciting. I also love the soundtrack, they make really good decisions choosing the artists according to the scenes.

I really liked Chloe and Julia as characters a bit more believable and likeable.
Some sex scenes left smt to be desired but the details and quality makes up for it. I think it's worth to play it was fun.

This is another "game" I've avoided even playing since I first saw it pop up on this site. From everything I've seen and read in reviews, I guarantee it is just lowest common denominator porn game nothings with a focus on looking good and nothing more. I'll call it now, before starting, a boring 'everyman' MC has a bunch of contrived interactions with the same 12 DAZ models you see all the time and the solution to all their issues end up being his penis. That's boring. Can't wait. And I know I'll probably get flak with things like "You're just jealous they make money." or "You want to tear down something good." To the prior: No. I'm sad that the same thing that happens to real gaming, people saying a game is good because 'iT hAvE gUd gRaFiK" when the story and gameplay are terrible or boring. And to the latter, if it was good I couldn't tear it down, could I? Long-winded rant about the terrible state of consumerism aside, I'm still gonna go through this and say what I think. Immediately, I'm worried it will be a perpetual patreon milker that will never go away, but here's hoping the story has an end. The hilarious truth is this is just another "Corporate Espionage/Mafia" story with the added MC has amnesia trope AND MC goes to college. So... Originality is baked into this, I'm sure.

Basically, you play as MC. He just moved to a new town to go to college, start a new job. Oh! And investigate his shady father's death/disappearance after he got amnesia from a lightning strike. And so the dev knows, Lichtenberg markings only last a few days, sorry to spoil it for you. It'd be cool if they stayed, but don't. Anywho, right away, you meet the lonely and very obviously sexually frustrated landlady. That for ONCE, is actually a landlady. Even if here in the states we call everyone, regardless of gender, landlord. Or soul sucking rent gouger. Either way, MC meets her, he somehow lands the luckiest deal of all time where he lives for free and works less than part time while going to college. Fresh off amnesia. Glad he remembers academics. Then you meet the LI's. Chloe the voyeuristic bookworm, Julia the virgin gamer weeb, Alyssa the dancer/fitness chick, Sue the abrasive "...goth" one, Emily the exhibitionist, and Susan the aunt type that is also his boss. When meeting them or something less than exciting happening, it's chock full of weird dutch angles zooming right up their ass crack. God forbid you get bored looking at cleavage so deep it meets their pelvis. You also meet Dylan. A kid pretending to be Russian... For some reason? He's tired of talking to girls and wants to get MC laid... For some reason? I don't understand why he exists. I guess he's there to be attracted to the DAZ models that would be considered conventionally unattractive. You know, so MC can have all the supermodels to himself. You get your idle pleasantries and stupid introductions out of the way. Every interaction happening in a bubble and feeling like they were written by different people. Seriously. Lily has the typical older woman porn VN writing. Alyssa seems almost personable outside of the daydreaming about her tits. Then Julia has this LOLRANDOM gamer 420 whacky vibe. If it were written well, it'd be a rollercoaster.

MC continues his wet blanket self along, meeting people, yadda yadda. Then Sue picks him up because she has to pick something up for Susan, but Susan is there. There is no universe in the infinite multiverse that THAT ever makes sense. "Hey go to my second home to pick up my suitcase, I'll be there, but you do it." Did anyone read this before putting it together? Yes, I know hundreds of people read and proofread for them, probably paid them to do it too. But did anyone take in the information and evaluate it to say "Hm. That's less than smart." No. And Sue, the lookout, goes off to sunbathe topless? They also reveal that Susan is Sue's aunt by marriage even though they look like mother and daughter and sound and act the same. Their names are even similar. But, you know, don't think too much, just keep rubbin' one out. Then Lily calls MC pretending to want him to work on the sink and gets shocked when MC gets his turbo virgin boner when her dress suddenly becomes transparent. She deliberately called him drunk and naked. Sure, you weren't setting that up. And she goes to change out of wet clothes, but MC's shrivelled up tiktok brain couldn't sit and wait longer than 30 seconds so he pretty much barges into this woman room while she supposedly changing. Followed by the tired ass anime trope of slipping on her and something embarrassing happening. Then they both go through olympic level mental gymnastics to say they're desperately horny for each other. So sex happens, the husband that LITERALLY JUST CALLED TO SAY HE'LL BE OUT OF TOWN FOR ANOTHER WEEK COMES HOME? Wow.

Every situation is pretty much that. MC exists as some nice guy, the girl gives no signal that she likes him, then you get an option for sex/kissing. Alyssa? He helps her clean, they talk about missing dads, they kiss. Julia? They play games, watch a movie, she's never heard of sex before and gets horny. Sue? They get locked in a room, that would lock from the inside? She gets cold, puts her hands on his crotch, and gaslights him to yell at her because that does it for her, sex happens. And they reset a circuit breaker to reset something that is turned off? That's ALSO not how that works. Ending with a cryptic line from Susan. Leading into her heart of gold for charlie? Then more sex with two random girls that locked up Dylan. Then you meet up with Chloe and Alyssa, MC's first thought is Alyssa wouldn't want him to be friends with a girl because they tentatively got together. Never mind the five girls he's been intimate with since saying he wouldn't hurt her. But he also sees it as a threesome opportunity. Cool. Eventually tries to confront Lily about his dad, but the comically evil bad guy (that turns into a red herring due to critique, I'm sure)shows up, suddenly owns the building MC lives in and kicks him out unlawfully. He is worried about it for maybe 10 seconds, you finally see the alyssa sex scene, then you make the first actual choice in the game. "Where to stay." But it just gives you a talking scene with the character of your choice and one updoot toward them. When you FINALLY get to the college part of this college story, Gabby, a new girl, is immediately smitten with MC and have sex with her. There's no real effort happening. Go to place, see girl, talk about plot and leave, or help her and then sex happens. That is every interaction.

Finally, you get to the climax of the season, the "twist" is revealed. The second season opens up, tells the answer to everything. As a surprise to NO ONE, everything you thought happened, happened. There is no reason for the story to go on other than the sex drama. But drama can't exist in stories like these, unless it's between MC and his father. This isn't going to go anywhere interesting. No one will do anything. All the women will suddenly be cuckqueans to facilitate MC for the next infinitum (which Chloe kicks off). It all builds up to MC finally having sex with Susan, I'm sure. And this will be milked forever. My two cents would be: Just make adult animations, at least we don't have to click 40 times in between poses.

Really, this is the first time a game is actually proofread with decent grammar and it still gave me a headache. I think I saw two lines that had weird grammar mistakes and while I'm thankful for it, that doesn't mean the story's any good. The UI/UX is sort of customized, new images and a font or two, but it's still just default renpy with a twist. The art is good. I really don't give a care that "Animations are in 'GLORIOUS' 60fps." Nobody needs that. All of season one, the animations still looked like they we floating in jello. It's all so slow. They speed up a little in s2, but it still looks like it's in slow motion. The dialogue is fine, and inoffensive. Very safe. Very "I'm not too weak, but not too alpha, not too nerdy, but not too Fonzie." See what I mean? And the story is the same "Dad did something when I was a kid, now I have to figure out what." you see everywhere. So like I said, boring. Over-developed, bloated, lowest common denominator nothingness. If this does it for you, by all means, I'm jealous. But if they actually wrote a good story, could you imagine? The visuals are top notch. I just wish they'd hire a writer instead of buy another 4090 to pump out slow motion 4K60 sex scenes.
