Why? It's just another tool, no different to a pencil, paper or hammer.
There is shitty AI generations which you see most common on the web, but I use it a lot for my work and, really - it's been a game changer in the industry I work in. It's saved countless hours and, achieved the same - and in some cases - better, result than our clients were looking for.
All of our clients are fully aware we use AI to enhance our work, and they're fine - and more often than not, intrigued by it and want a demonstration.
As I said, you've got cheap, shitty AI images - where people just type "porn" into a field and share what comes out. Or you've got skilfully generated AI using mapping, references - and of course via nodes you can introduce a whole new aspect of images never thought possible before.
As for this remark. Yes, a lot of people have used it too much and incorrectly, I might add. Though I don't think someone should deserve "the worst that can happen to a human being" for simply using a new tool. I can imagine there were people that had the same mindset when cameras started to exist, and a lot of artists back then were put out of a job because a portrait could be photographed and achieve levels of quality that a painter couldn't reach in the same time.... thanks ai stans FUCKS for ruining art and artists everywhere by the way. Technology changes. You can stand against the grain if you wish, but I will tell you now - a LOT of the tech sector - especially game development - are using it, whether you know it or not. Some of the bigger companies, I'm not going to say who - but you can guess rather easily, are using it primarily for texture generation - and you better believe when 3D model generation is finally released (it's in testing as we speak), we'll see 3D models being produced en masse.
Edit - also, "art" is defined by those who view it. My definition and your definition of "art" might never align. And that's fine, because beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And we don't share our eyes.

seriously tho I have no problems with AI art, it has a recognizable style most of the time and it is a bit rough but it is way better than nothing most of the time, it is just new tech being new tech, some people considered cameras a lot worse than AI art, at least we are not telling anyone that AI will steal your soul

I mean, we do already have such a thing. Bionic eye lenses are a replacement for the natural lens. Though it doesn't have cool features like a HUD or health display as a lot of people would assume.
The problem with AI art isn't the tool. It's the inputs that people use. Considering a lot of people are, as I said earlier - just inputting the word "porn" and saving what comes out. There are far better examples that show the true potential of generative AI tools. AI in and of itself is nothing more than a tool. It's no different to a pencil.
I don't think anyone has considered a camera worse than AI? I mean. A photograph is literally and actually an exact "copy" to some extent of what the photographer is seeing. Whereas AI is typically taking a best guess that matches up with your idea. Did you mean Cameras vs. Traditional Portrait etc?

the same problem. the game does not work, I changed both locales and region, nothing helps
IF YOU ARE ENCOUNTERING AN INFINITE LOADING SCREEN:
This is caused by anyone who played For the Queen in the past.
The game creates a registry file with an option file that is used between game versions.
The demo/prior-to-v1.0 version of the option file is incompatible with v1.0.
It remains to be seen if this will be fixed in a future build.
This can be fixed by navigating to your Registry Editor, and deleting the GINKCO folder located in:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\GINKCO
Delete the folder, then run as normal.

I meant that old timey folks that lived in the early stages of photograph making had the supernatural belief that having your photo taken meant that your soul got trapped in it, that happened in many places around the world, some of the isolated tribes that did not advance with the rest of the world still believe that, it is pretty common knowledge as far as I know, at least around here, I was making a joke about how it does not matter what kind of bad stuff they associate with AI art it cannot possibly be worse than having your soul stolen, my whole post was mostly a joke, I am sorry if it looked too serious, I do aggree with you, AI is a tool like any other, and as such, like in many cases before it, it will get blamed for the faults of it's users, that is sadly how humanity works, but I am getting too philosophical now

Click on the unit. Click on evolve , You get two choices click select on the choice you want and it's done
