I finish my post grad at uni in 2 years so I am half way (also it is not a masters).


Let me answer this. Tldr = on HOLD.

Hello friends, people, and countrymen. As some of you guys knew I went through heavy assignments and my finals last month. Everything went well luckily, a for the past few weeks I was in my home country for family and friends. Now that I am back home getting ready for my third year of post grad, I am trying to think of the work/balance between Uni, general life, and FF. After a lot of thinking, for the best results I believe I should put FF on hold whilst I am at Uni, FF due to heavy rendering requires not only a lot my time but my computer (PC); with Uni and placements it is difficult to get quality FF work done. However while I was overseas with my laptop I decided to start writing my other project, 'Lost in No Man's Land' (name is not final). I am hoping that because it is less rendering heavy and more choice/writing heavy that I can get a lot more of that work done even whilst I am studying. It is also a nice change of pace for the audience as well and I. Ever since I started making FF, people have been begging me for something more game-like rather than a linear VN. Whilst I obviously cannot make a game-game as a solo-dev during uni, I can make a CYOA with heaps story branches. To not slow down the process of this I can make the renders more efficient (e.g. render in 2k instead of 4k or 8k, then downscale). Also there could be much more community involvement as there is no set specific story I had to adhere to like FF.
I understand that some people are going to be displeased hearing this but I think it is the only way I can approach this. FF can be continued in the future, but I am very unhappy with the current speed I can render high quality images.
I am going to be asking for a lot of feedback on the next project so feel free to voice your opinions.
Regardless of what happens I am super grateful for all the love and support I have received over the last three years (fuck time flies). Wish you all a lovely summer (NH) or winter (SH) coming up.

FF always has a special place in my heart, I won't forget about those ladies as I put a lot of effort into them.
The upcoming project will be quite a different vibe mainly due to the setting and atmosphere (post-apocalypse vs. moving to a new city). NML is much more story based too, compared to FF's showcasing storytelling. The fetish range will be broad, so you'll see the same classic ones, and a lot of new ones. Heavily depends on the faction storylines you end up in.
I understand that some people that like FF won't like the new project and that would be valid, as they're not the same.

Nicole isn't attractive at all. She doesn't deserve the title "Mistress." The tatted chick, Indie aka "Bunny," should be the Mistress, Nicole should be the sub.
And it's such a shame, because I really like how dominant and abusive she is, especially with the financial domination, but coming from such an unattractive woman, it's just frustrating. If Indie was saying Nicole's lines, it would make sense. But Nicole saying those lines... it just doesn't fit. Ugly women like Nicole don't deserve that kind of respect or authority.

I'm a big FemDom freak, so I should like this game, but I don't. I couldn't put my finger on why. As I was playing, I kept thinking to myself, "This is what I'm into. Why am I not enjoying this?" At first I thought it was because the female characters weren't sexy enough, but that's only the case with a few of them (most notably Nicole). Then I thought it was because the game was entirely kinetic with no choices at all, but then some choices started coming up, and it didn't change my opinion on the game. But then I realized, the reason why I find this game so tedious is because the protagonist is just too into it. Domination/submission is only sexy if the submissive is forced. If the submissive wants to be punished, then it's not really punishment, is it? It's just giving a guy what he wants. There's nothing sexy about that. I've said many times, there's nothing a true sadist hates more than a true masochist.
The protagonist has no arc. No journey. No struggle. His personality goes through no changes whatsoever from the beginning to at least as far as I got playing (the bar scene). From the word "go," these women start dominating him, and he offers no resistance at all. He just does it and likes doing it. It's bland, it's dull, it's boring. And as a FemDom guy, I hate to say that about a FemDom game, because there are just so few of them.
To the developer, I hope you stay at it. I think you can do better next time if you just keep trying. Good luck.

Respect should be based on the merit of their character, and their actions.

You're right that I didn't use the word "conflict" in my first post, but I did use the word "forced." When one person forces another to do something, that kinda implies conflict...
But regardless, I look forward to your next project. You're definitely a skilled designer. I wish I could do what you do...

Here was the cover I was working on a little bit ago. If you want screenshots of the actual game you will likely have to wait because the current renders of the game are just the opening sequence so nothing spectacular. I have mostly been working on making, designing, and clothing all the characters, and of course writing (already tens of thousands of words in, but this still needs to be edited for a polished product). The game will have most fetishes (the good, the bad, and the ugly ones). Will the first release have much pet play? I don't know, also depends on what you consider pet play (do you consider collars and leashes in the context of prisoners pet play? Or does pet play have to be in the context of animal roleplay?).

Thank you for the clear answer. There will be forms of pet play throughout this project, some factions explore this kink and complementary ones moreso than others. " keeps this position until the end of the game "; I'll keep that in mind but I feel like that won't really work well in most story threads, but I can think of a few where accessories are permanent/semi-permanent.
