Yes i see that as well, and cant get of the feeling, that the girl was made by AI. At least the face looks very much how some AI programs made them look (of course i dont think its made only AI, but with some human helping hand after).
I have nothing againt AI art and actually very like many of them, but if i am right, it should probably be in the tags (some people get mad, because of these things).

Seriously though, I have no idea what that means. I think there was AI involved in writing these notes, not just in making the art.

This looks very much like someone took Honey Select renders and put them through image to image AI. The results of that sort of approach tend to be pretty decent, but then you also rarely see people paint in clothes that poorly afterwards. The side view screen straight up looks like he forgot to put that through image to image...

Actually, this kind of look is preferred in Chinese circles, so I wouldn't base it just off that. Up until recently, every single time you saw this kind of features (uncanny valley porcelain doll), you were guaranteed it's a Chinese illustrator. However, much of the AI CG I see lately also mimics this style, so it can be hard to tell.

In this case though, it's obviously AI, as the rest of the image quality is just all over the place - something an artist wouldn't do.

This doesn't look like AI generation to me. It looks like someone with decent talent drew most of the pictures originally, then someone with much less talent came along and edited some of them to try to fit what they wanted to do in the game (adding clothes, cutting bits up to make new poses).

* or the original artist made some very low-effort edits in order to have "SFW" versions for Patreon/etc

It's not AI, been getting games from this dev on steam a while now and they have several games in this art style that has same artist and they started well before AI art was even a thing....and then they also have their "Cute Honey and Adorable Witch" series' that have the more anime/manga style which they have a couple different artists that do the work for those.

I'd say it's more like what Renaati said...I also think they have lately been using AI on the work that their usual artist does most likely for workflow optimization so I suppose you aren't entirely wrong. But it is still indeed og artwork just ran through AI after the fact I believe.
