Realistic Human Characters in Under An Hour

Will this ultimately be the end for Daz3d and Iclone?
The film industry will also change to a digital industry.

Interesting...

Just imagine the developers and software engineers when someone uses their tools to make a porn game!

The looks on their faces, lol! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I don't think so.

I had tested it myself on release. This tool is amazing, it's a landmark for the next generation of games.

First problem is that there are no genitalia in these assets, and we don't know if it is ever going to be. Almost sure, not an official one. Maybe some wizard artists implement it themselves, what is not an easy task

Second, DAZ has a huge library of models and assets. This is new, it will take years before it has a good collection that can face DAZ.

Third, DAZ is a big studio, they will not just watch it happen, they will do something to improve their tools, maybe it works, maybe they fail and fade out.

Lots of "ifs" and "maybes" here.

The problem with the tool, isn't the lack of genitalia. It's not even the minimal system requirements it may have, it's not even the assets library, or lack of one.
The problem, that will hold such a tool from hitting the market share that DAZ already dominates, is ease of use.
And, unless the MetaHuman Creator tool becomes even mre foolproof than DAZ already is, allowing anybody do set a scene with a couple clicks, and zero knowledge of how shaders, lighting, geometrical density, subdividing etcetera work, it WILL remain a VERY powerful tool, for the hands of professionals in the field, with the proper amount of knowledge, experience, and resources to make the best out of it.
Can it gain enough traction to replace DAZ Studio completely? perhaps, someday... but, we're nowhere near that... yet anyway

Yeah, doubt it replaces DAZ for all the reasons already mentioned. But the first devs to figure it out will probably have a gold mine of a patreon on their hands.
There lies a major problem.
If a dev has the skillset, know-how, resources and experience necessary, for the tool to shine... they most likely already work on one of the latest next-gen AAA game titles, and, as such, their time and resources they can dedicate for a patreon-funded project, will be severely limited.
Much like UE itself, it will take a good deal of time before it gains a foothold on the erotic gaming realm
