Top down 2d game. You can choose light/ dark female NPC warrior and they wander around the map. You can place traps and movement tiles to chain damage and push the heroine towards a monster giving you an h scene. You have a upgrade tree with different monsters and there are multiple maps as the NPC progresses.

Although I never played the game and it's forbidden here due to rule 7, it could be Light and Shadow - Doppelganger by Hanabi Games on Steam.
No, there werent any turn based combat. The NPCs were adult looking, I think it was an dark elf and a light type (probably elf).
