Is this game bugged currently? I got up to the part where Karen wants me to leave the door unlocked but then the game goes crazy. Mom wants me to go out with her but that never continues. Suddenly I'm going on a trip out of nowhere. The text starts making references to stuff that never happened.
It's like things just suddenly start skipping left and right (playing as Son). I didn't want to spoil myself so I had to stop.
EDIT: After reading a little it seems like this game is about the Father really? I'm liking this "dual family" concept a lot less right now. I thought the idea was to give the player agency by letting us choose the protagonist. Now it seems like the Father is the protagonist no matter what. That really backfires though because I chose to identify with the Son instead. The Father is the enemy forever in my mind.

Yeah the last two updates have serious continuity issues, which is why so many people complained.
Regarding the game focusing on the father, I just don't see it. I think there is about the same content on both routes. People on this site have a very obvious predilection for mom/son games, so don't base your judgment on that only.

We don't know yet dev is working more on the gallery and secrets more than the game.
The gallery and secrets and all that other crap should be done at the end of the game and 1-2 updates then do gallery and secrets crap.

Too bad that F\D route had got more content and care over the M\S route that had an entire event scrapped to put customization on the F\D route
Should I remind you that the only nudity happens on the son's route (daughter always dressed so far)? I don't know where that idea that he is scraping the M/S route came from. The son got 2 BJs so far, the father nothing.
This forum has a very serious issue with mom/son fanboyism.

I agree. Played both paths and liked the F/D one more (because I'm not into the mother so much) and the S/M-path offers a bit more to see.

He scrapped a mall event where the mom was supposed to interact with the son and give more oppurtinities to progress, but scrapped

In the very early days of this game i remember the Dev. saying he had trouble relating to the son/mom stuff. So I think it's only natural to favour the F/D route. This should also be the reason the son comes off as a bit of a tool at the beginning.
Dream sequences don't count at all. And automatically rejected sex like with the cousin is not satisfying to anyone.
The removal of the mall event is the only thing that has merits but even without it the son's route has more content when you realize this is a porn game.
The daughter/father route does not have a single sexual conversation like the son telling the mom he spied on her naked for example.

He is really trying to make a "deep porn game" (which I don't mind, if well executed), but failing miserably.
Making the son a annoying brat and then making the father somekind of a gary stu where every fucking chick wants his D. What puzzles me more it's the fact that he doesn't like doing the son's route, then why bother? Do like the DmD dev, I don't care.

Indeed, the son here is not annoying. What is starting to become annoying is the overuse of stupid drama as a replacement for advancing the plot or interactions.
