I will be expecting an extra story branch in the Cassie release as reparations. You're on thin ice, and it's springtime!

Believe me when I say it was a serious blow to us as well. We were proud of the pace of development we had been maintaining. I'm embarrassed to say that none of us are computer gamers. We actually bought the 1070 used to help us jump start our project with the intent of using the first $1k of patron support to build a dedicated rig for renders and animations. We actually weren't far off from that goal when this happened. But we have seen a small out going of support since the crash, so that has slowed us a bit.

Rest assured though, we are still writing, and we have Cassie and Jane's next scenes written, we just gotta render. So while the wait is painful, the next update should be quite sizable.

Too much characters are introduced at once, and too much dialogues. How can MC handle so much action at once.

We wanted to keep the timeline ambiguous for most of the game. So the stories he's telling the doctor actually occurs over the course of months. By eliminating the linear day to day progression of the tale, we felt we could include more action and more story, and stay focused on the parts of it that were worth telling.

When you've scene all the content currently available, the game loops on the menu screen. It's not that you're stuck, you've just done all that you can at the moment. It's lazy I know, but we've had problems in the past with having to update a bunch of menu flags. So we left the game to hang there so that as new updates arrive, you can just dump them in your existing game file and proceed from there.

I've obviously been away a while, I don't check Patreon or this thread frequently, I just quietly make my tiny monthly donations and wait for the next update.

But...I guess I missed it...another daughter swept up in the dustpan of moral indignation. Sigh.

Oh our game came out during the great Patreon purge and we have been careful from day one not to specify any relationships beyond the wife's. Even Cassie's original character bio was devoid of any explicit violation of Patreon's policy's.

It was a calculated move, but a necessary one to stay out of the inquisition's flames. We didn't want to hit the 70% completion mark and have to do a bunch of rewriting.

I like to view Cassie as a stray that Roger fed on the porch one day and then couldn't get rid of. I like that view because it doesn't violate any T&C's we've agreed to and that keeps us out of trouble. =D

I never said daughter. We never said daughter. No where does it say she's a daughter. In fact, she might just be an apparition. The ghost of some young sweet tart that was killed in Roger's house back in 1996 and continues to haunt the premises. Who knows?!

OR...Maybe she's the neighbor's daughter and she spends all of her time in Roger's house because her mother is an over the hill divorcee who makes her mortgage payments by being a ditch for cum. I mean, really it's up to the reader to decide. When I write the story, I pretend she's Roger's cat who manifests herself in his mind as an attractive young woman. No rules against that!

Mhh, it MIGHT be seen as (second hand) bestiality or something, depending on how petty the reviewer wants to be. Maybe you could introduce a real catgirl or something, just for cuddling, ear scratching and so on. I'd totally keep her.

I haven't seen an update here since Feb. 03. Are you going to continue keeping updates behind a paywall? and if so could change the OP to reflect that? ie it's only a demo and will not be updated any further?

So, European date stamps aside, just in case you missed some of the news, we had our video card blow out on us. So we are running behind schedule on our releases. We're working on securing a replacement, but until then we have continued to write.

So for what it is worth, we have three new scenes for Cassie written, as well as the next two for Jane. So we have lots of story to share, just no visuals yet. Once we get the card restored and can start on our renders, we should have a very large update coming your way. We just need a little more time to save up some cash.
