I'd get that, in the beginning. He was somewhat intriguing and comedic, I even understand his intended role. But now he's like a joke that being told for the 100th time, and it stopped being funny somewhere around the 50th. As of now, he stopped being interesting, and in my opinion, does more damage to the overall quality of the story than good for it.
Well, as I see it Dennis is paramount for the entire VN plot - not sure if anyone noticed but there is a "thesis" on school counselors' desk which she needs to corroborate in order to get the grant and pretty sure she is the main instigator in all of this.
Without Dennis as MCs archnemesis, there would be no plot at all.

I really like Dennis if that's any consolation lol. He comes off as a silly and antisocial person sometimes but other than that his ideas and plans are pretty solid, he's also very rich which gives him many ways to turn the table on MC. If he could fix his appearance and attitude somehow MC (an ex athlete with PTSD and Bad reputation who has nothing special about himself) would have absolutely 0 chance against him.

Just my 2 cents on Dennis,
to me the game feels like its tone is off. The characters are kinda cartoonish, dennis the worst of em, but the plot is trying to make this a serious story, it doesnt really fit for me. Either the characters would need to have a little bit more depth and realism to them, or the story would need to be more lighthearted. That's why I feel like the story we got so far would be better if Dennis wasnt in it, or only as a minor character who appears once or twice at the start and then is dealt with.
