I believe I'm currently supporting 8 game projects and 2 artists, with some crossover between those groups. Generally I say my max is $5 but I am breaking that rule in a few cases at the moment.

As a dev myself I appreciate every dollar that someone pledges. I haven't made a dime off the project myself yet (everything and then some's gone towards art and assets), but seeing the 'So-and-so's pledged $5!' emails in my inbox is a huge morale boost.

When I find a game original, funny, with good balance between story and CGs and the dev has few patrons, I supported him, to encourage to continue the development.

I would like to support some games but i can not chip in to everyone game i played.
This patreons thingy makes it more difficult for me. Its like Kickstarter but with endless payments like a subscription.
So i am on the fence but i think i will toss in a coin.

Nope.
Because i am poor and didnt ask to have a high sex drive.
Honestly if i could get away with it i probley woudnt even pay for food.
I dont believe paying for life neccecists shoud be a thing.
Luxery like a yatch or a fast car?
Sure.
But basic's stuff needing to live?
No.
And yes i can(and do regulary) jerk of on fantasy but i can get movies, porngames and music for free so why woudnt i?
I already pay to much just for being alive.
Besides its not like 95% of video games are remotely worth the asking price.
They arent even worth 5 bucks.
And i am talking about proffesional games.
Really so many things are overpriced just because people are willing to pay for crap.
If something worth buying i would pay for it.
But most stuff arent worth the asking price.
Or even the offering price.
Crap sells way to well.

Very occasionnaly I supported some devs. Last one was for Dilmur because I really enjoy playing the game, the art is nice, I like the characters the story... And the dev seems to be serious updating in regular time and will probably finish his game this year so it's not an everending game nor an abandonned one.

But yeah I don't have much money to support devs, maybe in 1 or 2 years I'll support more but only the ones I really like and who seems serious and at least a bit disciplined or else they always lost the track of their story and the game turns bad or abandonned.

No. All the funds I have are currently used in developping my own projects. Once I have enough funds to reliably be able to live and keep making games, then I will think about supporting others.

Not consistently but I usually support the game I actively like/play for a month or two on patreon and then move onto the next one.

I have supported different games on patreon here and there for a month or two. But now I'd rather pay for a finished product tbh, although I understand most games take it's time to develop due to being solo devs, so it's a long time they might go without funding if it wasnt for patreon and simmilar stuff.
