I used to like a lot of games on here especially something like treasure of nadia, being the dik and etc. My favorite genre used to be harem and incest. But over this last 2 years after trying multitude new games I just stopped liking this type of games. It somehow maybe became harder to self insert or something, I no longer a fan of mother/son relationships, still a fan if sister but not as much as I used to be. Actually became more fan of futa games without male characters being present, or lesbian but there are barely any games of the genre. I don't know if there is correlation but I stopped liking straight male female porn and only watch lesbian.

I haven't played AVN's for a year yet only like 5 -6 months and my taste has already changed from when I first started. When I first started I was all about going full manwhore getting all the content I can. Now I hate that playstyle I only like to do 1 LI at a time , I will only play a manwhore playstyle if I can't decide on a LI and want to get to know them better before I decide.
Even some incest LI to a small degree I start to dislike compared to when I first started playing AVN's. Now if I go after a incest LI I have to feel like they aren't there to just check a box but actually have some character deveolopment and perhaphs an okay story. I think Chasing Sunsets ruined me when it comes to those type of relationships.

It became easier to detect bad games and drop them earlier. I will not read a long boring dialog and skip it, I will not grind for hours with no sex conent, I will not use online manual to progress etc.
Graphic requirements became lower. Most games I've enjoyed didnt have realistic 3D models. Even if they are drawn in cartoon style there is a chance the game may have hot scenes and interesting gameplay.

not really. closing in on 50 I more and more realise that even the things I thought I found at later age had always been there in some form.

Apart from Newgrounds games my first big eroge was RapeLay and I still loved forced ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But my tolerance for bad games is much lower now. If it's bad MTL or I'm not totally loving the art I just drop it. There's so many H games out there that it's no big loss.
I find it more annoying when there's weird misconceptions about women's bodies. I mean I like forced so I'm obviously not the moral police, it just annoys me when a protagonist is like 'oh I see you've had a lot of sex because your vagina is darker' or some weirdness. That's not... how that works? I sometimes wonder if these developers have had sex before with the weird stuff they write in dialogue. When I was younger I didn't care as much but it really bothers me now. Maybe it's a mistranslation but still.

Used to spam every single 2d game, still got favorites left saved on hdd. Moved on to 3d animation, which surprisingly evolved so much compared to what we had in past. Better than porn, less frustrating than playing some games for action. Some games are there for the arousal or simply to enjoy gameplay.

Well, for me i think wasn't kind of changing kinks as some people mentioned above, its more like im actually playing more for the game rather than the porn.
I mean, when i began this journey into video game debauchery that was kind new thing for me and well i just got more easily aroused by the games, and lets say that i got more attracted for the porn too. Well, i was a bit younger, and well, more inexperienced inside the games and out.
I don't think my kinks changed at all, i mean, some i discovered along the way, but what i think that happened to me was to become a little bit more selective. I mean, porn games still must have a good porn, but nowdays the game aspect is something that highly affect my experience.
I even play games out of my "kink" comfort zone just because i was fond of the gameplay.
In short i think i became more selective about what i play, partially because im no longer easilly impressed anymore, wheter its for the porn or the gameplay.

Expanded my pool, the only thing I've started disliking over the years is 3D stuff, it all just suddenly became uncanny and weird to me a few years ago. I definitely went through a phase where I was so against NTR I would fight with people on the internet about it lmfao. I'm beyond that at this point, but that's the only thing I ever hated that I ended up being alright with.
