Did MAMEKY get banned?

No I don't think he got banned.. Account is still active (and recently)
Think its a bit harsh to describe someone as a fool. Especially as you need line is asking for a copy of this "fool's" game to play
His use of the English language is not the best, but I know its better than most people's grip of a second language. And actually quite funny at time!
However, it would seem that the thread for said game has been deleted a few days ago, looking at his own blog, the game has been banned. Strange that its been banned now though after its not been the same update for nearly 3 months???
Looks like he is also pulling the public free release of the previous update. Its interesting as I noticed he had deleted the mega link copy of his previous update just around the same time as the game was "banned".
Be interested to hear from an admin if the game was banned (and why) after months of no changes. Or if the author pulled it?
Mayb because there was not enough funding for the game? I do think a $1 dollar donation would get 10 donations faster than a $10 would get 1.
Maybe we will never know. Its a shame though as the game was one of the good "real porn" games left in development.

Well, tbh the creator did make it very hard for himself with this game. At least in terms of fans and possible supporters.

The whole thing comes across as an unapologetic cash grab, and always has. Well, I vaguely remember the first release being mostly free of bullshit (other than the game being weird, full of hoops, and almost unrelated to its title), but immediately thereafter it seemed like he thought he was implementing the old "first taste is free" scheme. If I was betting, I'd say that he deleted the thread himself, since the last release leaked there despite his attempts to fully paywall it. Probably $10, since the bet would be a better investment than paying $0.01/hour for stolen porn and a buggy, first-attempt VN. Oh, and $2,000 of in-game cash that I could give myself in the debug console. And only through the debug console, if that actuarial version of poker is still the only way to earn money in-game.

Can't guaranty it for the game section, but while I can edit my threads (the OP only, obviously), I can't delete them. This need the intervention of a mod, and if they were asked to do this, I assume that they would have just transferred the ownership of the thread to someone else, instead of deleting it.

Apparently it was removed for bestiality content. The user/dev isn't banned, nor would we remove a game at a dev's request.

I think I recall a post where he said something along the lines of "if he could get x amount he would release an update", which kinda gave the impression he was more interested in the short term gain, than the long term.
Also the "cheat" protection, poker grind, and in general time management and limiting days, was on the bad side. I know several posted valid critics and suggestions, but doubt much if any of that came through. Shame, he could had something interesting going there on the "Harry Potter" angle, but didn't really see much of that tbh.

Some forums do that but ultimately it's mostly a matter of the admin team's discretion. The way forums work generally the admin team has absolute power; it's not a democracy (usually). Those that attempt to be a democracy usually don't go well, or turn into a convoluted mess.Ok, this is unrelated to the discussed game, but wouldn't it be better just to close the thread with a banner notifying users about the reason why the thread got closed or banned?

Not really, since in this particular case it contained forbidden content, so it makes sense to be deleted. In other cases you can see threads getting locked down, where it makes more sense.
I think he meant that when a thread is deleted, when trying to access the thread you get to a page where it says it has been deleted and the reason why is has been deleted so users know.

This way users would be notified and people no longer would start a new thread asking what happened to game thread xxx.
Just a suggestion for next year.

Also, you put too much faith to the average user. You'd get "Why is thread X closed but not Y" instead
Anyhow, at least we did get some form of closure on the matter.

Looks like there's still plenty of games here with that tag, so I don't think it's banned on f95. Maybe not like... encouraged... but it's not really forbidden, as far as I can tell. Now if there's been a rule made that 'new games with bestiality aren't allowed' then I dunno about that, but the tag's still a thing, so.
