Really good game. Art is pretty, animations are good and gameplay is fun.
I don't know how the updates are going, but I wanted to post this review to make sure I support this game.
Worth a shot, and definitely a lot of fun.

One of the few games I actually enjoyed & plan on buying once its finally done.
For me, it's up there with Erocio and Kurovadis (too lazy to look up the correct spelling).
Anyway, this is one of them, although I never followed those two, I will follow this one with great interest.

This review shares my thoughts and opinions about Crisis Point: Extinction [v0.37.1].
I'm don't rate this game based on it's genre!
Please excuse my rather poor english grammar and spelling, if you find any mistakes, you can keep them.
Story [4/5]: Humanity is infected by a virus from another planet, turning all new born babys in females. So humanity decided to travel to many planets again, in search for an antidote. You are on a rescue mission, because you received strange readings from one planet some team is deployed. The landing goes wrong and you are probably the only survivor. You find the rest of the stationed team and help them in their research. Feels like a generic sci-fi story, but it fits well in the game.
Characters[4/5]: The MC Alicia is female and feels like a classic game heroine. Just like Lara Croft or someone like that. She always has something to say or complain about. It's rather refreshing than annoying.
The soldier Rodrigez feels a little like Ron Stoppable and is mostly useless or is full of it.
The researcher Birch doesn't care for others at all and keeps his mind on the search for the antidote, the plants and the monsters on the planet.
The characters work well together and keep track of what you need to do.
Interface [4/5]: Looks good and works smoothly. I would prefer, if the map would be on it's own key and if you hit Esc the menu should come up. But that doesn't work, probably, because it's made for playing with a controller.
Art/Animations [3/5]: On this point I'm a little torn. The animations in pixel art are absolutly fantastic. They look smooth and even seeing them all the time they still look hot and get you going. On the other hand we got the art/CGs. The look ok, but that's it. You need to go and see the monsters you fought. Then you get a cut-scene with Alicia doing "research" with the monster with dialog and the Art/CG. In my opinion the game works perfectly fine even without the art. The pixel-animations are really worth it.
Gameplay [3/5]: It's a 2D dungeon-crawler and well done. I played in "Normal"-Mode and the damage from you or the monsters feels well balanced. There are teleporters, so you don't need to run through the whole map, to get back in camp and there are different weapons with all kinds of ammo. The more you run around, the more upgrades you will find and so an. Boss-fights are challenging and there are different areas to unlock. The mechanic to heal yourself by doing it with the nearby monster/s, is refreshing and fits great in the game. It was an absolutly wise decision to avoid this rape-element and instead have a little outgoing character instead, that does what needs to be done. So you can do it with any opponent if you feel like it or you need some health back. (Healing doesn't work in "Hard"-Mode). This mechanic saves this game from being just like those annoying lose-to-get-the-sex-scene-(japanese)-games and stays so much more positive in it's atmosphere. A big shortcoming in my opinion is that some places are by far to empty. There is literally nothing. E.g. you finished one room, go to the next and it just leads to the next room and there is nothing again and only in the next room action keeps coming back. So there are 2 rooms to connect before something awaits you again. Another thing is that I don't play with a controller and that sucks balls. Because you need to hit another key for shooting diagonal and there is a main weapon and subweapon with different sets for both of them. Maybe I'm just not that great with so many switches to hit and mostly just shoot with one weapon till everything is gone. My last point would be something specific: I would like to have an auto-grab-option on the kilogrip.
Sound [5/5]: Good sound effects and even voice acting for all major characters. Big plus.
All in all I rate this version with a [3,83/5], because I think it has great potential. It doesn't have the same-ass models from DAZ or Honeyselect. It's a real game and not only a visual novel or run-around-not-knowing-what-to-do-RPGM.

*Edit 15.06.2020: Unrelated to my rating, I would wish for multiple save games, so I could go for a normal, hard and an avoid-sexual-interactions playthrough, without starting a new game everytime.
Another wish would be the option to change the screenresolution to 16:9, but could be difficult with the in-game vision.

Poor animations. Feedback is questionable and clunky. G/UI and hitboxes are both also questionable but gets the job done at least and isn't too bad. Very small amount of content and length of gameplay, but hard to completely assess as the game is not yet complete. Concept is okay, but all else is lacking.

    gameplay: really good.

    draws: so gooddamn good.

    story: nicelly done.

    voices: really well done

    ambient and music: really good.

    scenes: freaking hot.

conclussion: this is a class-A game right here, (yes with lots of influence of metroid) but it got his own flavor... lewd flavor and its so good. the voice acting is good (but it could be better). in general, this game is really fun to play and well done.

this game TOTTALLY deserve your time and money

I love this game, the controlls/movement is just so flawless. the animation is really good and smooth, the music is great and the voice acting is suprisingly good. definantly want to see more in future updates.

Aspect ratio is wierd though, its not really the comfortable 16:9.

Brilliant game. Definitely in my top 5's. I'd love to see the final project. Looks amazing, and it feels polished and smooth.
Unlike most games here using sex to sell their crappy platformer, in here, the story, aesthetics, sprite animation, absolutely everything fits so well.

Great game so far even if its still in a early stage of development.

Gameplay is on point and you get the feeling of a real metroidvania style game with all the things you would expect like exploring and backtracking.

For a game in a beta stage, this game is surprisingly "complete" and filled with features and content.

For a hentai game, the actual gameplay is almost an AAA level metroidvania experience. Anyone that loves playing metroidvanias, where the main goals are to fight bosses, find upgrades and backtrack to earlier locations to find more upgrades and reveal more of the map, will absolutely love this game.

Now as for the actual porn content, there is porn, but as of the rework it became almost optional (Due to Patreon terms of use regarding non-con sex), the game uses a masturbate mechanic, which when used, enemies will have sex with you if they touch you. Through my almost one hour playthrough, I almost never used the mechanic because I was enjoying the game itself.

The pixel animations are very smooth and polished, the CGs are well drawn (formerly drawn by LustFire, which will be replaced by Kuso otoko's art soon according to Anon42) and the voice acting is exceptional. Especially for the protagonist.

The sound design improved so much over the many versions released. The sounds are very rich and meaty, music is different for every area, and the music fits really well. Sounds for the 10 different weapon upgrades are also amazing.

All in all, a H-game worth your time and
