HTML Buttons on left and right

Working with twine and sugarcube. I've got a lot of buttons in the game I'm developing, and it'd be great to have two columns of buttons on a page- one on the left, and one on the right. I've seen this in other games such as the casting director, but I can't work out how to do it. Does anyone know a fix for this?
