RPGM - Completed - BegieAdeII ~The False Hallelujah~ [v1.07] [PLANET PANDEMIC]

This is one of my favourite H games. Tied with Nightmare Knight for favourite RPGM game. Character designs are great, music is great, animations are great. I've never seen better animation in an RPGM game. Lots of decent voice acting. I don't mind anal content so I enjoyed it. Plot is longwinded at times, but I actually cared about the characters, even though I had to mash through some of the dialogue vomit.

I almost didn't play this because of the low rating. The polish on this game is phenomenal and it deserves better reviews.

i was contemplating on giving it a 2 or 3 since as a H-game it's a bit annoying. long intro and felt really forced drama with many twists in the end... but the very end was hype and i don't regret playing it through. i liked the previous one better.

biggest problem is to unlock vaginal sex from rape is a hassle, with no guide, but even if there was guide i still wouldn'T do it. you have to lose 3 times in every area. it's totally braindead thing to do. so it's only anal sex and groping/petting etc. battlesex is fine, every area it's different... but imo in previous episode it was better, maybe due to the anal restriction.

story is fine, ending is very good. there is drama, twists etc. many sex scenes but mostly from battle.

im a bit disappointed of the potential lost in this game but w/e. it's not a 5/5 but giving it 3/5 or lower would feel wrong since i rated last episode 5/5 despite its shortcomings... this had more shortcomings, because the shortcomings were on the H-scene front as well.

but game is fully voiced, well animated. probably a fine game to try but dont expect a quick fap, good action starts after like a lot of time, i dont remember but maybe even more than 1h. first area sex/rape is more vanilla too, even though pretty early you get raped in story.

Tl ; DR - 2/5, slow and limited

Had high hopes, but the fact you can self sabotage yourself because scenes go on forever is is ridiculous. And combat is the only way to end encounters? The plot also drags this game through the mud. Way too slow to be an H-game IMO. I might change this from a 2/5 to a 3/5 after I calm down, but if I wanted blue balls that bad I could walk outside and get rejected IRL.

I rated the first game 4/5 due to just, bad things despite the story being averagely good drama, and the H-scenes being gold, but here once again, due to bad things this is 4/5 and not a 5/5

Let me explain.

So the story is pretty good, though you can skip it wit Ctrl, you won't miss much, The story events are kinda simmilar to the first game, a village gets attacked, they take hostages, they lure you, they capture you, you escape, you travel to the main castle and defeat the boss, and then fight the real final boss.

There's a patch, thank god, otherwise maybe this would have been buggy.

But still, god fucking damn it, H-scenes in the gallery simply do not open, at all on my playthrough, no matter what you do. The "multiple endings" are just not worth it, if you have seen one, then you have seen them all, when you decide to drop a save and open the gallery, they do show.

To activate vaginal H-scenes you need to remove the virginity barrier, but the problem is that, you have no hits showing you how to do that, which is just annoying.

The characters do no care about the main character's level of depravity which makes the story scenes kinda meh, even though if you play properly, the characters are well written.

My 4/5 rating is based mostly around the okay story, where the only good parts are the intro and the end bosses, and the 2D short but well made animated H-scene loops.

Oh and, dear god, some of the levels are designed to troll you, I am talking about the last level in the prison ruins where it's a literal goddamn labyrinth where you are looking for the key to the exit door. It took me 2 fucking hours to find it.

Oh and, holy shit, again, the difficulty is stupidly hard, the only way to play is setting it to "very easy".

Came with the impression it was a Monster Girl Dreams type of game, since ppl mentioned Battle Fuck, and is very far from that, even Karryn Prison's has somewhat a Battle Fuck mechanic, here you dont have agency of anything, the girl is just randomly fucked through normal combat.

The H material is kind nice but it has so few scenes and repeats over and over again it just get boring after some minutes. More variaties would be nice.

For the anal lovers out there search for some game isnt so good either even the first half of the game the girl being virgin, it just 9 scenes heavily repeated with only 3 or 2 with good angles which gets stale fast.

Maybe story and music maybe save the game, but for the seekers of H material is kind of meh.

Immersion 10/10. Very fun game and the h-battle mechanics is very good. It even have sound effects of the skill which a lot of games didn't have(voice actors?). While the game let you progress slowly but it also keeps you on track what you should do rather than skipping all the time without knowing anything. The Story kinda interesting too and the devs really nail it. Although I find the corruption of the mc a bit lacking but the gameplay and the sound effects of the game is excellent .

The story:
Much of the conversation people are having about this game seems to be about how the intro is fucking long. However, people are saying this has one of the best stories of any porn game. Both of these things are true. Even the best story in any porn game is still fucking shit. A decent story would have a new spin on the same old kinda-dark fantasy world. Every scene would tell you something about the characters. The characters would all have arcs, distinct personalities signified by different writing styles. I see some of these things in tiny amounts, surrounded by plot, then some plot, then more plot (though the plot is itself fine and sometimes interesting or surprising), then another tiny bit of characterization - which is usually so in line with the stereotype that it just becomes background noise. And this is still better than most porn games!
But think for a second.
There are maybe three non-porn games with good enough writing that I'd read them if they were a book: Disco Elysium, Baldur's Gate 3, and Planescape Torment. And not only do these have great writing, they also have a lot of decision making, gameplay, graphics, art direction, music.
The reason we play games is because a medium with more components working in tandem can become MORE than the sum of its parts.
The problem with a one hour intro, is that even if it weren't still shit writing, its barely a game, at best an incredibly low budget interactive anime. They've forgotten half of the medium.
I have a feeling that the main reason people think this game is "well-written" is that the gpt translation means that some slightly evocative, if generic, language is used. I greatly appreciate this too, and it gives much more gravity to the parts that are a bit interesting. Let's hope that porn games continue to improve their writing and someday get their own disco elysium. Until that day, an hour-long intro IS a negative.

The music:
Generic. At least pleasant, not irritating.

Art direction:
Shit. Zero visuals that made me feel more than looking at a tree for 2 seconds.

Graphics:
Outdated, could have been made 15 years ago and you wouldn't know.

Animation:
Better than most porn games. In other words, amateur and lacking finesse, with obvious and distracting artifacts. But it's present a lot of the time, and I'm loving the "show don't tell" philosophy present in some scenes (though I wish it were more).

Gameplay:
Generic RPGM with exactly one interesting gameplay mechanic. There is H in the gameplay besides that, which although passable, gets repetitive pretty fast.

Voice acting:
Mostly present for the women, adequate

Just finished the game. Played it for 11 Hours.
Definitely best story and best music in Ero RPGM game.

This game has best plot, best dialogue and best characterization.
The twisting part is also very great.

This game is mainly Battle Fuck. So, the H content is only available in Combat Battle. At start, you only get Anal Sex. The vaginal sex only open after certain of events in the middle of game.

IMO, this game is as good as Blazing Aries (or maybe better).

i have played the first game so i hope that the dev would invest more in the gameplay but nope it is not!!! , this is a Kenetic Visual Novel disguises as a RPG , the game play is what i hate the most : grindy , long intro ,tanky enemy . THe only think i might like is art and story .
Guy just use Mtool cheat to speed up this game ,if you have free time it is fine but me who has a job and some free time after saturday night it not worth to play this

BegieAdell - The False Hallelujah is an alright RPGM game with insanely great animations and art, an absurdly long intro, and generic mechanics. All in all, the biggest hindrance to this game (that just about everyone has mentioned) is the insanely long intro. Holding skip for the entire thing, the intro took me about 20 minutes to complete (including the 2 tiny gameplay segments where you kill a few enemies before continuing the cutscene). But, for those who actually want to sit down and experience the story, other users have reported roughly an hour of intro. Genuinely, this intro combined with the generic RPGM mechanics are the only actual complaints I have about the game, as well as a few minor nitpicks.

Pros:
+Insanely good art
+ Full animation for literally every H-Scene
+ Full Voice Acting
+ Decent Story
+ Gallery features customizable animations

Cons:
- Absurdly long, unskippable intro
- Generic combat
- literally everything you do, including saving, is accompanied by dialogue that repeats each time you do whatever it is you were trying to do
- Anal only until halfway through the game

If you're going into this game looking for a quick fap, your best bet is to just download a save. Although there's a good game here, it really requires your full attention and a large chunk of time invested into a game that you won't even know is fun or not until you sink an hour into it. The lack of options to skip the intro really hurt the game's playability. But if you're willing to sink 20-60 minutes (depending on if you hold ctrl or not) into this game, then you'll be given a fairly fun, although generic RPG with great art. So while my complaints aren't extensive, they are enough to severely hamper any level of enjoyment the game has to offer for its first impression.

Combat is tedious, and incredibly grindy. It's significantly worse than most RPGM games. There's also exactly 0 fun to combat even once you get up to the right level, since it's mostly statchecks. The above is par of course for RPGM games, but then this game's combat suffers from stupid amounts of padding on top of that.

Any boss battle involves about 20 minutes of unskippable animations between short bouts of actual combat to regen your CP, because you can't die while you're fucked, and CP is your best source of healing as consumables are scarce (and bad besides).

Combat in Begie Ade 2 is cancer. And I write this as someone who actually likes RPGM combat. Replayed Pray Game a few times just to beat the bosses more underleveled than the previous run, but this game's combat I can't stand.

Even worse, the way you grind is to repeatedly lose, replay the defeat animation, and get a tiny bit of exp each time. Actually winning fights grants an even more pathetic amount of exp, and each victory takes longer than dying even on the easiest difficulty. Each area takes about 100 fights won, or about 20 losses to get through.

Oh, and do NOT save after a defeat but before consuming the exp, since you lose those exp if you save the game before you consume them.

The dialogue is longer than some visual novels. I couldn't really tell you how good they are because I skipped them, but even skipping them it takes a while because of how much there is.

The only saving grace is that the combat/defeat animations are pretty good.

Unfortunately there's only a few animations that you'd be seeing again and again to the point that you'd want to skip them... except they're unskippable and a lot longer than combat animations seen in most games. Plus they're the source of exp and free regeneration as you get fucked during combat, so you'll see them a lot more than any game, even those focused on grinding.

Dropping a review to help bring this game's rating up, because I believe it is seriously being unfairly reviewed.

Biggest complaints I keep seeing is the length of the story. I'm no writer, but I think it's well written enough to make Roselitte's journey convincing enough.
Yes maybe it could have been delivered better and not info dumping in long cutscenes, but it made a decently interesting read. It's also voice acted and very well translated.
To add-on, you can also skip the text holding the CTRL key if you don't want to read, which is why fail to see why long story is a problem....

The game has really nicely animated battlefuck and defeat scenes. Hell, they are even voice acted as well.
Some of the battlefuck scenes are repeated across the various mobs, but there is enough variance that it doesn't become stale too quick.
The game is heavily focused on anal and to a lesser extent vaginal sex. The rest of the game has a mixture of futa, hypnosis and some bondage. Majority of the context of the scenes revolve around rape and corruption.

Combat is not very well done. It follows your standard RPGM turn base combat, but it spikes in difficulty around mid-game after you reach the first town. The dev did try to add his own unique twist through the coop skills, but ultimately it still felt like the same old boring RPGM combat.

The game gives little reason to explore the town and maps, but you kind of have to if you want to unlock the ability for Roselitte to lose her virginity. I wish the game made it clearer on HOW to unlock them, because I did my first run all the way to the end without seeing a single vaginal sex scene.....

Honestly giving it any less than 3 stars is insane. There are worse games out there that have higher ratings than this.
This is genuinely a well-made game. Yes, it has many cutscenes, yes it can get a little long and tedious sometimes, but there are tools, like the standard CTRL skip button if you don't want to read the text!!

They actually dont stop talking... even after saving... theres dialogue? why lmao it makes no sense.
It's an ok game, i think if the story wasnt too long it wouldnt feel so tedious because the art and scenes are actually pretty good, combat scenes are not properly implemented, and the mechanic is horribly implemented.
It's a shame because the models are really good, and the premise is good as well, the story outside of it being too long is actually good, it's just so tedious.

tldr: inlfated game

unfortunate, it looks like a promising game with good art and combat H, but when you actually play the game, it's pretty bland. The H combat is also just not well thought out. The story is wayyyy too long and boring.

Also I don't know if the devs thought they were being clever but they are literally taking the first game's story and using it again in this one, which is terrible.

There's no monster H-scenes, the orcs are the same as humans but green.

The only thing this games got is some decent art.

How inhumanly I got tired of the prologue in half an hour... This is just madness, will you let me play with your endless cutscenes!? Honestly, the developers who create intros like this are just criminals. I'm not against the plot and the written story and world, but it needs to be presented in the process of storytelling, and not pouring a ton of information at the beginning...
And most importantly, when the invasion begins, there is no way to save the game - what nonsense!?
If after clearing the village the cutscenes start again, I won’t hesitate to stop playing it, it’s just terrible.

And of course, after 5 minutes of gameplay there are again a bunch of videos... Goodbye game, I don’t want to suffer anymore.
Oh yes, the first X-scene... how they drew GG from behind, well, just blood from the eyes... the artist has never seen girls?

This is definitely a game where I came for the fap, but stayed for the story. Fair warning, as a more story focused game, the intro is long (for h-rpgm game standards anyways) and you're locked into mostly anal content until a series of events happens.

I'll be real: if you're only here to fap, this ain't it (even though the h-content is actually not that bad).

Anyways, onto how I felt about the game:

It's fairly linear in its whole, which isn't bad as it's telling a story. As a tradeoff however, there's not that much variety of content in the h-scenes. Most of the h-scenes are made up by the battle-fuck and 3 tiers of defeat scenes per combat zone (the third one locked behind the aforementioned series of events).

As for the story, I thought it was pretty normal. But it was a well-done standard story. You may have seen similar plots and twists before, but you'll still appreciate how it was told here (for h-rpgm standards anyways). You don't have to play the prequel to understand what's going on here, but going through the first game does help you understand one of the characters better.

The best part is:

It's mostly voiced acted, which was surprising. And even more surprising, was it's actually pretty good (again, for h-rpgm standards, it's definitely a stand-out). I would say the finale would be worse off without the voice acting and this is one of the few rare times where I actually sat here listening to the whole thing rather than speed reading the text and moving on.

Final rating: 4.4/5 - Rounded up cus it got me invested in the story.

At the end of the day, I was looking for some h-action, but instead, I was surprised that the content here was pretty good and got me invested till the end.
