Ren'Py - Completed - Babysitter [Final v0.2.2b] [T4bbo]

I don't see why this game is so popular.

The story is pretty meh, models look pretty ugly half of the time. Makes me wonder how the dev can look at pictures like the one on the saving screen, and think that actually looks good. I played the game for a couple hours, and other than weird dreams that don't go anywhere, the pacing for sex scenes is waay too long for the kind of game this is.

Even the games I don't like on this site, can do better. I can see why the mods for this game are abandoned.

What pretty clearly started off as a copycat of any other incest game in order to earn those fat patreon bucks, actually grew to be a very good and unique game.
The story is quite mature with not necessarily unique but well written characters. Render while at the start were pretty disappointing, in the newest versions improved drastically. Also:

Another point: this is an instance of a game in which the NTR really makes me sick to my stomach; fortunately it is almost entirely avoidable.

Christine is gorgeous and sweet! I have never felt as bad about going the harem route in any other game, as much as I did here. And the love/friendship rote is really fulfilling.
The support cast is ok, tho Sonya is a little bit hard to understand at first.
Jess is a mess, but her backstory justifies it well.
The other characters are workable.

Great humor and some epic jokes.

One of the best dates I've ever played in a game.

What I did not like:
The apartment navigation is little confusing at the start.
Some typing errors.
Money seem kind of pointless.

One of the few games that make you feel bad or good based on your previous decision. A game that make you care about the characters in the story.

Probably one of the best written game I have played so far. The main characters have their own worries, desires, choices and insecurities which make the characters relatable instead of just the usual main male protagonist get all the girls scenario. Besides the narratives and the well written characters, the smut scene is awesome. There are not much in the first half of the game only the storyline and characters development, but the second half just got suddenly much more spicier.
The only lacking things is any real threat or antagonist in the story as the bad guys in the story didn't really to possess any challenge or threat to the main characters. This makes the story less exciting even though not having good antagonist is not a must in making a good VN.

Great game, good dialogues, intriging and sexy game. Main characters stay intersting. Nice tension between the two BFFs. The fact that there are real choises to make gives this game much more dept then most of the adult games. One thing I'm not a fan of is the hair and face of the main character. But there has always to be something left wanting.

Sexy characters, decent story line and good to great animations. Christine and Jessica are just two of the sexiest characters in adult gaming and visual novels. I like that you have to be very careful with your choices or the story can really veer off in a manner that might drive you crazy. Not a fan of NTR but I like that you can ignore that route if careful.

Great game, there's story ; emotions, relationships and most of all - plenty of content to be found. This game's HUGE, filled with many different routes, slowly yet steadily this game's made its way into the top three spots. Easily one of the few good ones on here, long may this keep on going.

Haven't played this ages, if it's progression over the first year of development has anything to say about it then you will have a better chance (and spend less if you pledged) trying to get laid irl than the MC does. Upsides would be quality, the dev has an interesting story and the images are great.

Definitely a 5. CG quality is great, animation quality is like a 8/10, story is pretty good. There's a bit of everything.

The main story, the MC and the main love interest are pretty damn good and the focus of the game, with a wide variety of ways to get there. There is optional NTR and lesbianism if that's your thing.

My only annoyance, is that like most renpy games that branch out over time, the choice patterns are not nice to you. Things that you think are nice aren't actually nice and vice versa (when it comes to how they affect stats). So you kinda NEED to play this with a walkthrough (which is nicely provided by the creator). It covers the 2 main paths of the story. Both paths are covered in depth with 100% of scenes that aren't NTR, those are the only diverging paths. And that's where my "annoyance" comes from, because all other choices are simply about cutting off characters. For instance, there is a 3-way junction at one point, one progresses NTR, one cuts off a character, one proceeds as normal.

Phew, I ranted a bit more than I would have liked for a review, as this complain is one I have with A LOT of renpy games. That still doesn't change the fact that this game is a solid 5/5.

I was following this game since the first release. It was "ugly duckling" back then, but I saw great potential. I'm glad I was right.
This is one of few games with choices that matters. If you want to be promiscuous - you can; if you want a love story with Christine - you can; if you're into netorare - again, you can play that way.

Decent story and renders with 2 paths to play down. My biggest issue was that I felt the need to use a walk through, because not all of the decisions are as intuitive as you would think. The yacht scenario gets forced on you regardless of which path you take, and the cam girl path of getting there feels cobbled. The most recent update has really stepped up the quality on animations, so kudos to that.

In this game you play the part of an computer programmer who takes in a young girl who has ran away from home and finds himself attracted to his new flat mate. The game has essentially two main routes for the player to navigate through ( both of which test his relationship with his new flat mate..) The way the story unfolds has been handled brilliantly ; early into the game your decisions and interactions with the young lady have immediate and sometimes dire consequences.This is an excellent way of encouraging the player to invest in the character and burgeoning relationship with the young woman - later on as their relationship develops their interactions with other characters can affect the game quite dramatically. All the games characters are well written - so much so you immerse yourself in the game feeling passion,anger,revulsion and sympathy along the way . The writing is complemented by the terrific renders and animations which enhance the games plot lines and character development brilliantly.This game is another example of how the development of the newest AVN’s are raising the bar for the genre.If you’re looking for an AVN that just appeals for it’s explicit content - this isn’t that game - while it contains those elements,undoubtedly it’s far more sophisticated than that - one of the best AVN’s out there T4bboo and his team have done a amazing job - update T4boo and his team then proceeded to lose the plot completely with the last two updates - everything that had been great about the game was abandoned in favour of astonishingly unrealistic plot turns and massively increased adult content overwhelming the original story - my advice play up until the yacht then abandon ship...

Great rendering, good writing, and progresses at a satisfying pace. I'm not evven all the way through my first game yet and this is already better than most of the games I've played on this site. Definitely looking forward to some more quality time with this one.

The visuals are great but what makes this a 5* game is the story. If I don't care about the characters then it hard for me to want to continue the game, T4bbo has done a great job fleshing out the characters.

This is a very nice game with an interesting story that is developing nicely and you have different paths to follow. Also the graphics and the sexy scenes are done very nicely. I really like the friend of the sisters daughter. She is really hot!

Excellent story, relationship development and character development (relationship wise). This is the first one I downloaded and still my favorite.

You are given multiple choices on who you want to be with. Your character does cross the line to creepy (your still mostly the good guy here), BUT, this is your choice and can be avoided.

Also the image transition / "animation" is well done without having actual animation.

Character emotes are good.

I played the v1.4 of this game and its very nice.
Plot wise it's solid and it gets very interesting near the end(of this version).
The renders/models at the start of the game are pretty bad but as the game evolved you can notice the change which is much great and welcome.(The models are good looking .Also some scenes are animated which is cool.
The NTR in this game is avoidable which is perfect for ppl that dont like it.(not a fan myself,I was hesitant at first but i quite enjoyed it)
There's replayability value as you can choose between 2 main routes that they branch out a bit.

In summary its worth to try out this game even if you're not a fan of NTR.My only complain is the early renders,which make it feel cheap but its not.

This game has both great writing, models, and story line. I'm quite impressed with the developer and look forward to more and also trying to pad this review since all I really wanted to do was add a rating to the thread.

An other great game, where the story is meaningful and not just a way to add more images. The characters are good / believable as well.
I really liked it, hopefully the quality stays like it is and the updates don't take too long.
