Well there has to be something that the dev could add in order to not have to make it playable yourself. I still stand by what I said.
Considering what everyone's saying, I can't wait to start up this game and end up causing the next SMT game considering all this devil summoning program talk.
Yeah, install just doesn't work, despite following instructions, including the more updated ones, exactly
this has got to be the worst install process ever after a phython install error i now have a floating 114mb of data used and cannot be removed until i reinstall phyton.
I cannot recommend this for even testing a review isnt worth it. Just installing this game is a hassle even if you did your in for a whole new problems.

Sad, seems interesting but it's hard to install, i was following the guide in the link in the thread, but now i dont know which file i have to make the executable for

Sadly, if you want people to run your game you need to make it a little less hard to install , and to run the game. I tried to create a custom character and it kept saying the str stat is undefined or something like that. I tried following your instructions to get NPC's into the game, but frankly, I shouldn't have to. But, I do applaud your think outside the box methods to create the game. Good luck, hope to see this game a little more polished.
I will say that for people who don't know what goes into creating a game like this do not have appreciation for your work - but I know how difficult it can be - and I would love to see this game just a little bit easier to play.

I've worked stupidly hard for porn before and some esoteric python install instructions is not going to stop me.
Game doesn't even work after the install which is hilarious. Character creator is broken, even with the premades, you can't play the game unless you want to spend forever sifting through a cramped txt manually fixing each error in the developers own creation.

If possible, in the naxt update, pls add a pre installed version. I have been trying for the past 30 minutes, and I give up. there are countless other porn games which are less tricky to install, and most ppl would rather play something else. This may be harsh, but it is true. make our lives easier. thanks.

Oh, too bad. This still seems really interesting so I'll just hold onto the Python install until the dev makes a less overly-complicated installation process.
Edit: ...nevermind I got it installed and I'm in the character maker now.
Edit2: And it's not letting me save characters I make. Says all this crap about a character missing an attribute 'stat' when there's just no stats to fill in. Hell even loading in the pre-existing characters they can't actually be saved because they too are missing this invisible attribute 'stat' thing.
Edit3: Okay, thanks to Desteron's previous comment I've found out it why it won't save. And that's because the code for saving characters isn't properly set up, so that's also something you also have to manually fix. Even then you can't properly remove existing characters with the game itself, it just crashes, so you still have to go into character folders (aka npcdata) and delete them yourself. Leanne also might be the only NPC properly set up here. I'm seeing others with just a data.json file and a portrait, but Leanne001 has 4 more files, plus a _pycache_ folder with functions inside that.

I second with the opinion that... this isn't even a "demo", it's just incomplete.

Testing your own product and making sure people can just download and run it without issue or extra work, and making sure there are no obvious game breaking bugs, would be a good start before trying to release something publicly.
is there a way to reduce the horizontal size of the game window. I can change the vertical size and make it fit but its annoying to keep moving the window left and right just to see the rest of the screen
I managed to get it installed, but I had the same issue a bunch of other people had where the text is too large for the bounds it's put in. I re-ran the requirements after reinstalling python to get the latest-latest version, and noticed it was asking me to install Microsoft C++ Development tools, copied the link it provided, and around the time I was downloading Visual fucking Studio on my non-work computer I decided I'd had enough and gave it up as a bad job.
