Unity - Completed - Alien Quest: Eve [v1.01] [Grimhelm]

AQE is the golden standard all other 2D games should be compared to. came for the plot, stayed for the gameplay. AQE has excellent animations, good enemy variety, gangbang mechanics, RPG elements, solid platforming, engaging boss fights, and tons of content. my first playthrough of this game had a game timer of about 2 hours and 45 minutes. i highly recommend the hardmode mod for this game after you beat it vanilla. please Grimhelm, please make more games like this.

Gameplay
Honestly a solid metroidvania game, i got around 2.5 hours of gameplay out of it. Can get difficult at places but you can make it through if you persevere. The movement and combat feel fluid, the character feels like they're at the perfect weight. No XP grind is required, you can just keep going to newly unlocked areas. The skills you can unlock/find are pretty fun, although newer skills very often outclass older ones giving you no incentive to ever use your older ones (the final two skills are exceptions).

Graphics/H-Content
The art style is beautiful, the animation is smooth and there's a gallery that fully unlocks when you finish the game, allowing you to view game-over and in-combat h scenes. This is really more of a metroidvania with h scenes on the side rather than a h game which is a metroidvania on the side. Warning, a lot of the h content is monster-on-female content.

Conclusion/TL;DR
If you want to play a solid metroidvania game with some h content, this will be perfect for you. The difficulty is just right, gameplay is smooth, nothing feels particularly unfair and the bosses are fun and challenging. With a beautiful art style and good level design, this is just a really solid game with no glaring flaws.

Best h game I've ever played !

The main character is damn hot, the gameplay is very smooth (with xbox controller) not like the others game like this (night of revenge, xenotake, closed area block z) where character are so "rigid" and the sprite scene are just perfect that make you smile when you see a new enemy.

The game is really really good. The sex, the animations (not only the sexual ones, but all of them), the enviroment, the setting, the gameplay... Everything is top quality, to be honest. I really hope Grimhelm gets the support he needs to make another game with such an amazing design and gameplay.

I'm giving this one 5 stars because of the great work in it.
This is a Metroid style game with sex. The art is simply beautiful.

Many enemies, every enemy has it own sex scenes.
You can Zoom in, in order to..... "better watch the action" XD

Needs a story and sexy dialogues.

This is a very good metroidvania game with a very sexy MC.

This is likely one of the most polished games I've ever had the pleasure of playing in its genre. The animations are all smooth and pleasing to look at, the gameplay is actually fun and exploration is somewhat rewarding, and there are actual strategies involved when fighting different bosses and enemies. As far as playability goes, I only played with keyboard but I've heard great things about game pad. It controls well and there's not much in the way of complaints from me.

Pros:
- Fluid gameplay

- Fun challenge
- Sound design is great
- Game over scenes are excellent
- General sex scenes are also great

Cons:
- Game can be a little too hard sometimes
- Could be grindy if you spec incorrectly
- No dialogue/story for the most part

Final Thoughts
I really love this game, and I think it's one of the most polished experiences you can find as far as a platforming adult game goes. I do wish it had more dialogue and perhaps some sort of lewdness tracking like in Ayura Crisis, where as Eve gets fucked she begins to enjoy it. If it had that sort of system in the game, I think it would quite literally be my favorite game ever. But even so, I can't bring myself to dock any points for that because ultimately it's just my preference. For what it is, Alien Quest EVE is easily a top shelf experience and for fans of the genre, comes with my highest recommendation.

I really the game, it features great art and a fun gameplay. The only downside in my opinion is the laser spam of the enemies near the end. It is just annoying as hell . It just feels unfair getting lasered twice and then hit normally while you lay on the ground not being able to do anything

This game was actually so smooth.

Don't be like me and dump all your stats into luck. It (probably?) made the game harder than necessary. Running with 63% crit chance in theory SOUNDS good until you dish out little damage. Getting exp gets harder once you hit around lvl 40, and each level gets you 5 points to allocate into skills.

Fluid animations. 10/10.

Came for the porn, stayed for the game. The thing you'll come back to play just for the sake of the gameplay. This game is really good, even if it's not your thing as it comes to sex scenes.

New players: I recommend turning on the option to have the H-scenes without having to lose - you'll find it in the options menu when you start the game.

Yeah, it's oldschool style game, something like Metroid, as you can see, but better. I liked everything about this game (except how long it takes to kil enemies, so I can recommend you to cheat a bit, game is anyway pretty difficult).
Graphics of this game, makes my eyes very happy.
Gameplay is not boring and lasts for 2h, if you want to clear all map and watch h-scenes a bit (like I did).
Controls are good and responsible, but a bit too much, for a keyboard that can only do 2 actions at once.
H-scenes... ahh... finally some not disgusting rape... So I liked them alot too (boner guaranteed)
There is almost no plot. but it don't even needed (I guess).
Anyway, I really recommend you to play it and cheat a bit. It's a good porn 2d action metroidvania.

Mechanics of this game are of top notch, like any unity games. Animation is decent enough; though I think there should have been more characters and animations. If there is going to be sequel of this game I wish that they add more animations and NPCs, anyway it's a decent game, and I quite enjoyed it playing. Keep it up!

Quite difficult but a recommendable and enjoyable metroidvania even without the hentai.

The art itself is amazing, animation is great and atmosphere pretty good.

Great Graphics, Nice Gameplay, Great Animation scenes and their idea. Everything in this game causes voshishenie. The game is interesting from the beginning, and well-researched dynamics of skills and abilities, so atmospheric and beautiful scene.
This game is worth the attention of everyone because it is for me №1!

Where do I start with this one? In short, this game is amazing! Visuals are crisp and designs are total eye-candy. The gameplay mechanics itself is smooth and doesn't pose a problem at all. If I had to nitpick here, I'd say the map would improve if all the doors you encountered were color coded for you can avoid going back and forth the place. But you get used it after awhile, so it's all good. Overall this game is a must play, especially if you're into sci-fi metroidvania games.

great game, plays well and is just plain fun, ive played most of the works from this developer and i can say that he doesnt dissapoint, movement is good an the animations are even better, just a real good fun game which is now released free on his patreon.

Great game! The art and physics are really well done and the throwbacks from alien and metroid were well placed without just stealing content or being out of place. My only complaint is there was no scene for the alien queen, as hot as she looked you gotta have her do something other than kill you!

10/10, best lewd platrormer i'v ever played, may be only Parasite in city is better. Bit challenging, great gameplay - strongly recommended! Plus support of x360 controller, lovely Giger/alien setting. The only thing i missing - more gangband/dp scenes, still perfect.

This isn't just a good H-Game, this is a good game, period.
I found myself on multiple occasions just completely forgetting the H parts and getting lost in the gameplay.

All of the traditional core mechanics of 2D side scrollers are there and very well implemented to cater to a variety of different play styles. Back dash, sprint, double jump, etc. Skills and stat progression are also present allowing you to customize what your character's strengths are.

It all feels and controls very good.

Art and animations are also top-tier for this genre.

This game is hard though. If not using cheat engine, be prepared to die quite a lot and possibly grind out more levels to progress further.

Overall, I think this game is one of the best on this site.

A lot different enemies with H-animations.
Other than the long development time, I hope this becomes the industry standard of quality H-games!
