depends on how you look at it. you can also just throw her in, don't let her defend at all and "enjoy" the show. at the end it's a game where you can only get lewd stuff when the nerds grope, no? and since it's a porn game and the premise of it is to see some lewd stuff, she will get screwed by lots of nerds ingame. seems like a legit punishment for me and who knows, maybe the ending can clearify what direction the dev wanted to take.

I talked in another thread about how much I liked seeing how the Japanese for these new/old games manages to get rendered into English. This was a fun one.

It's clearly seems to be the trend nowadays. When i was younger like 15 i'd play anything as long as there're sex in it but at 27 now i find myself a bit pickier when it comes to protagonist in hentai games, why i dont know lol. And i've also been curious as to why female protagonist games heavily outnumber male ones especially in 2d jrpgm, it seems weird to me. I mean, if i am playing a game where there's no sex, i'd then choose a female protagonist trying to look under her skirt and inside her chest since in such games that's all i'm gonna get. But if there's sex in a game i'm playing then i'd definitely roll a male character going around boning the female npcs or recruit one of them and go on adventuring. The idea of playing as females to be lewded is not really arousing to me but that's just my opinion tho. I understand that women might want that but i doubt there're alot of them playing hentai games.

i'm curious where you get that info. as someone who scours the net for decent female protag only games, i'd say it's more like half and half. and many great games that would be better as female protag are often times male protag incel simulators. granted, most male protags are sometimes sissies or transformed into a women or are full-on women-hating-Elliot Rogers wannabes, so that kinda thins the herd of actually decent games. the same can be said for good female MCs too, though. so really, i have no idea where you got "female protagonist games heavily outnumber male ones" from. maybe you're counting non-translated titles that i'm not aware of?

i typically find male protags to be too cringy, too rapey, or too fucking stupid to actually get into the game. at least with a lot of the female games, you know what you're getting: fucked. i've never once played a male protag game and thought "damn, that's exactly what i'd do in that situation", and that's where the real lack of immersion comes in. at least with a slutty female protag i can get into the role, as "lecherly" as that may be.

I guess taste varies and i'm talking about translated 2d jrpg games on both here and dlsite.
Try searching 2d completed rpgm and wolf rpg here and you'd see what i'm talking about.
At dlsite english, amongst 20 of their currently featured english game, only 2 of them you seems to play as male which is

So yeah, not sure about you but as i see it, completed game with male protagonist are harder to come by, especially when you weed out all those hardcore netorare, shota, gender bender, submissive man female domination, orc and tentacle etc...then there're even less left.
