You know, something just occurred to me, something that too is certainly possible, but this is just hypothetically speaking; what if that entire burning house scene is just a dream sequence? Maybe on a subconscious level he's thinking how he ever could choose between the two girls. Remember when before he went to see Liam, he said to the girls that he can't choose between the two, and at this point he'd be more willing to lose them both, than choose one and break the other's heart, and they said that they are okay with sharing him, and he said "I'm not so sure you should be"? When the girls said that they're happy with the arrangement, he didn't seem entirely enthusiastic about it, sure he was happy, but not 100% enthusiastic, think he has doubt about it. So maybe thinking about stuff on his way back to the house, his subconscious creates a dream where he must make a decision, and whichever decision he makes in the dream, that'll be his actual choice later?

I just came to think of that because the subconscious mind is known to play tricks on us, but there's more often than not some truth behind it

Well, as it stands I think the scenario doesn't fit the story at all anyway. I'm hoping to be convinced otherwise... but don't find it too likely. But yeah, whatever faults it has, a dream would just be worse.

Retrieving the Past. Pearson makes a cameo too. This episode and the latest episode from that game tie in together in a lot of ways. Which means that the AL universe is in no way tied to reality. In some ways it makes the crazy out of nowhere things easier to accept.

Well...I left for a weeks vacation. Then get stuck in Florida another week due to the mess left by Hurricane Florence. I have a huge amount of games to catch up on and this is the first one I play when I get back. Man I thought I was living the Polyamory dream. Then the rug gets pulled out from under me. However, I found the choice really easy like I said a long time ago.....Melissa over all of em.

the "never have I ever" game was some of the best dialog I've ever seen in these games..... You have to pick the right choices but I my God I was absolutely in tears laughing.... I couldn't play the game for a solid ten minutes because I couldn't quit laughing long enough.... I'm not gonna spoil it but oh my God, Fucking brilliant writing!

i just hope the ending isnt real. i feel like theres so much fun to be had and to take it away already and in such a way would just suck.

i have to say though that i have to applaud DrPinkCake for this game so far. He created characters for who i for some reason care about. i laughed and was quite a bit sad when some of this liamcancer talk happend which is pretty unique for such a game.

I just hope he doesnt overdo it which in my eyes for my own taste he would if that ending turns out to be real.

I recall that there will be multiple different endings, so I'm rather certain that at least one of them will be sad, but however all that goes, we'll just have to wait and see, it's only 2 episodes left, and until we get to the end, we can't really judge nothing, we don't even know how the entire burning house situation will really work out, it may not be as bad as the cliffhanger would suggest, who knows

With the way Episode 5 ended, and was resolved in the beginning of this episode, it gives me hope. I was distraught and replayed several scenarios trying to figure out a way to NOT escort Melissa in the police car. It was a forced scenario that Peter would enter the house with Megan. Both episodes 5 and 6 kept me up all night in panic after finishing, because it is so well written.

This choosing between those two is extremely hard for me. They both embody very good personalities and have both gone through struggles (although very different). The writing is so good that I would choose no other girls in this game. Leah is far too much of a freak for me, and Rena became jealous and petty. Melissa and Megan are both candid and honest souls, so it would be impossible for me to choose between them. They both have so many parts of my own personality within their characters.

I really feel for Liam. I have never had a friendship last over a few years (my ex inherited all of them), but the backstory of him and the MC really shows just how reliable and caring he and the MC are for one another. I could only dream of having a friend that good, and the troubles he's having are not deserved.

Watch. The final episode will be the MC waking from the coma, never having actually had any of this happen, but seeing all of these people in passing through the city. Maybe in the closing scene he'll decide to go take some 'Acting Lessons'. :coldsweat:

That will be funny that the everything didn't happen through the episode. But to me that seem waste of my time.

There has been a lot of back-and-forth lately about Ana. Some have posited that the actions of Ana and Jonas are basically equivalent when it comes to cheating. I would like to point out that Ana's cheating is written into the plot. The choice of whether Jonas cheats or not is entirely up to the player. If Jonas is a cheater, you, the player made him so.

Don't take this as an insult, as I have routes that go in both directions. So I am just as guilty, in those routes, of making Jonas a cheater as anyone else. Just keep it in mind if you think Jonas is a scumbag cheater.

after that ending, i don't really feel like playing this game anymore. i hate it when my smut turns dark. but my opinion is my own and i don't expect anyone to share it. i'll stay on as a patreon for one more update and see what happens. if the game continues going in this direction, i'm collecting my loses and stopping my support.

Yeah I agree. At first I was shocked when I saw the house burning, knowing that the girls are still inside and I'd have to get them out of there, and when the moment came to choose, for a moment I was torn, but then I quickly came to realize that it has always been Melissa for me. Yes, Megan is a very sweet, caring, loving, honest, loyal and selfless person, she really would be an ideal partner in crime. But Megan is all that too, in her own way, she's rather guarded down currently, but just recently she has learned to be more open about her feelings, she's even becoming more in touch with her romantic and sensitive side, and yet has this passionate wild side to her as well, something Megan is lacking for the most part. And I'm just by far more attracted to Melissa than Megan. You know, for me, it was always Melissa ever since I saw her in the coffee shop the very first time, haha. But having to make a decision this way is very extreme, I'd much rather nobody die, especially neither of these two.

As for Liam, he really is the kind of friend everyone should have in their lives, and the thing is, I have two such friends myself in real life, I've known them both half my life ever since I was like 15, haha, and the friendship with them still going as strong as ever.

Did anyone else spot sinister figure lurking outside the house in a previous update to the game ? ( Melissa and Megan were sleeping at the time ) also there is the “set up”with at least three or four different characters ( Peter , Dick , Ana and initial robber - though admittedly the last ones a stretch ) - all of them have motive... lunatic/dick , evil/Pete and scorned/Ana ;all know where the main protagonist live ( except robber ) ps sorry don’t know how to do that spoiler thing

I also suspect that it could be Peter, Dick and Ana, each of them certainly would have motive at least to some extent, but there is a 4th person I can think of, although admittedly it's a quite the stretch and I HIGHLY doubt it, I don't think the person would be able to do something like that, but Rena comes to mind. Ever since Megan landed the lead role in that big Amish play and then got the audition for a movie and even landed the role, and I'm also quite sure Rena has more feelings for MC that she lets on, Rena has been incredibly jealous of Megan, as you can probably tell, sleeping with MC just out of spite (though she felt bad afterward) and so on. I'm just saying that jealousy is a VERY strong emotion, people have committed monstrous deeds out of jealousy, that's why I can't rule her out as one of the culprits until I'm proven wrong, and I sure as hell hope that I'm wrong
