Ty for this, now i found another fun game to play :eazyHype:
Haha, well I'm glad I could direct you to a new game to enjoy, LaS really is a good VN, I like it a lot.
And you're also in luck, the dev just recently resumed working on it again after a bit of a hiatus for personal reasons, so more regular updates can be expected again :)

Why would someone want to quit because something is sad?
Dude shit happens in the real world all the time. I don't see people quitting live at each missfortune that happens to them.

The story is top notch and got me hooked. The guy is a very talented writer and is putting a good deal of passion to create this game, which as I've said before, it's a gem.

Man I LOVE this game. I am so emotionally invested in the story.

That being said, I was not happy about the ending to Chapter 6. I was hoping to play out the story a certain way.

Much respect for the developer for sticking to his script. Sad that he was forced to leave certain forums. No one should be bashed or criticized for having different views or opinions. Keep up the GREAT work Dr.

Well people usually play these type of games or all types of games in that matter usually to chill out, have some smoothing experience to get out from IRL mood or current IRL stressful situation so i can understand that some people want to quit after some dramatic experiences in game aswell, pretty understandable. especially in stories where story is already written and you can't affect big choices in any way.

As a former musician, I get it. And, in my honest and humble opinion, you are doing this for the right reasons. If you, the CREATOR, of this game can't enjoy what you are doing, much less the story, you can be assured that many others won't. I've found that when you do something YOU enjoy, something YOU are proud of, and most of all, something YOU love, it translates to a better experience for all. I can say that from personal experience, and just from looking at some of the greatest bands, whether you like them or not. They enjoyed the writing, the performing, and everything that goes with that, but they did it for themselves. Anyway, I just wanted to say there are very few VN's this immersive and you've done such an excellent job, that I'm looking forward to the next update.

The simple answer is, for the most part, it's not what people come to these games for.

It's like questioning why you wouldn't want blood and gory horror elements in a porno movie. Nothing wrong with that slasher stuff, but not often what you're looking for in the genre.

People complaining about the game and demanding changes and doing anything other than just silently stop playing is annoying. But all the people acting like there's no reasoning behind people wanting to stop playing are also being pretty disingenuous IMHO

And on another note. We all love Liam, but how sad is it that his character model immediately makes you think "cucking/competition/ntr" so the dev literally gives him DICK LIMPING CANCER to make it 100% clear that he's just there to be your friend. Damn :(

I have nothing but respect and admiration for @DrPinkCake, for staying true to himself and his vision (which many hasn't done, i.e. V3X, and we all know what happened there, which is an utter shame :(),and I've actually always appreciated the nature of this story and after each episode I was more or less able to predict things or the nature of things to come in next episode(s), so I had a hunch that things would get dark and sinister and I've always been okay with that, as long as they're realistic turns of events and make sense, which they are and which they do.

And I really love that the aim is to provoke emotions and feelings in people with the story, in good and in bad, have you connect with characters and feel for them, and this story does that probably better than any other VN I have ever played.

And the story? Damn, it really is one hell of a rollercoaster going up and down and from side to side and it's not even over yet, and yet so much has already happened. I've had happy times, I've had joyous times, I've had times feeling angry, hating on certain characters, I find myself loving certain characters (mostly Melissa, Rena, Liam and Megan, they're my kind of people), in many ways this story emulates probable real life scenarios, many of which are rather similar to what I've been through in life, so for that reason I can connect and relate to some of the characters and scenarios very well.

This has been one hell of a ride, and not an easy one at any rate, and yet I've enjoyed it fully. This is exactly how I want my VNs that I play to be, I wouldn't change a damn thing in this story, it's a pure masterpiece. Only other VN that has had me react in similar ways, is Depraved Awakening, these two VNs in my book would be the only deserving nominees for the "VN of the Year" trophy, haha.

Much love and respect to the entire dev team, keep doing what you do, because you do it so damn well! :)
