their site hasn't been updated in 4 years since ariadne's release and i couldn't find any more info about eclipse works elsewhere. very unfortunate since this is one of the best games ever.

How do you access gallery mode?

Only the MEGA mirror for the Pubes version is empty. The VOID mirror works fine.

Not that it's worth it. These are the only three files affected by the patches:

./Graphics/Battlers/battle1.png
./Graphics/Battlers/battle1test.png
./Graphics/Pictures/stand1.png

To top it off, the uncensored versions aren't optimized and are thus larger in file size despite the two of the ones in the Battlers folders being cropped smaller and improperly (i.e.- the tip of the sword in battle1.png, the width of battle1test.png).

Also, it does look like the "Nonpubes" archives' contents are identical to the sole working "Pubes" one, so someone dropped the ball there. Whoops. Unfortunately, the original MEGA uploads of the "patches" are no longer available.

However, because the imgur sample of the stand1.png sprite survived, I decided to open GIMP and use the Battler sprites to recreate those. So I've attached an archive containing the 6 images the patches would've given you. Just rename the (Trimmed) and/or (Pubes) versions to overwrite whatever it is you want.

How do you access gallery mode?

You'll have to finish the game first and then it is unlocked when you start the New Game+...you'll need to use Warp Gem Fragments or the whole reusable Warp gem. There will be a Crystal in the middle for you to go to the gallery room.

Where is the Flame Giant?
According to the guide it is in the 3F of the tower of the world tree but I can't find him

it's not a full save,
I was pretty sure that you only need to check the scene to unlock it, but loading save for not loosing a fight erase the scene from being unlocked.
That's why I'm going on NG+ to unlock the full gallery.

I Highly insist on if you want to play the whole game and keep access to the gallery, just use my NG+ save
then pick for very easy mode (cause of stuff) "Start using cleared data"
Or normal play without any item "Start Clear Game"

Because without New Game + you don't have the Crystal to Gallery access (and hints) until you finish the game and start it again.
