Basically the "bad boy" options for the wife will lead down a path of marital drama. We didn't write or establish Emily's character as the type of chick who's going to take shit and thank you. She's a tough broad, and if mistreated, she'll hit back where it hurts. Again, this is perfectly consistent with what we've previously demonstrated with the character both in the alpha and her bio. How she reacts to the "bad boy" options will be completely different than how every other character reacts to them.
We agree with the hell no on the NTR. Our drunk philosophical debate revolved around whether or not it was really NTR if A: the main character could 100% prevent his wife from sleeping around, B: If she's only sleeping around to get back at her husband for being a total abusive dick, and C: If you have the option strait away of kicking the shit out of the rodent in your bed.
What pissed us off personally and I think a lot of other players about Big Brother, was that this dick showed up and there was absolutely nothing you could do about it. You were completely powerless to stop him without jumping through a retarded number of hidden hoops. Here the path is not only clearly spelled out and avoidable, but should you trek through those woods, you get to break a dude's jaw no questions asked.
No offense at all! I mean you're a non-patron basically telling me to shut up and get back to work like I'm your goddamned slave. What about that could possibly be taken offensively?
We are only talking about single character, in her only scene in the alpha, Emily showed that she was no pushover. If the player bit, she bit back. So I don't think it would surprise anyone if she went off the reservation as an act of revenge.
But anyone who is playing our game and doesn't think it's heading for drama, hasn't been reading between the lines. Five of the seven romances land within the walls of the main character's home. And we've said time and again this whole thing is heading for the gates of hell. The climax is all about the fireworks! And the denouement is all about where the ashes have landed and where the character goes from there. But we also want to give players a path to navigate through that, which is why we clearly mark the roads along the way. We want to write a great story with a bunch of hot sex scenes. You can't have a great story without drama.

I don't disapprove of that arc, but I wanted to warn you about the path. Tension only really works if it's resolved - and that's not something in-development games do (c.f. Babysitter). Players/readers are quick to jump to conclusions. So while you can have mysteries, cliffhangers, and drama, any looming threat or crossed line will drive imaginations towards the unintended.
The only thing I am wondering (I am not sure if the Dev answered that) is that will there be an option to turn down girls and thus reduce the risk of exposure and the potential blow back at your face (Thus a different ending ?). I am not really into the 5+ girl round-a-about because it almost feels comical (especially with maintaining affairs with three best friends ) Lets say for example possibly the wife + another broad on the side or 2 max will it be possible? Overall am quite enthusiastic about and looking to become a supporter once I see the Beta!.
Yes. You have complete control over who the MC gets involved with. You can choose any combination of the seven characters, or even none of you so choose.

- Seen A way too many times, plus the whole ridiculous construction wouldn't work IRL without a titty tape;

Yes. There is an option to disengage every relationship. Including the wife.
Although to be fair, who Emily becomes really depends on how you interact with her. If you are the caring husband that treats her right and says nice things to her, she never has a reason to cheat. She becomes loyal, loving and caring. But if you constantly treat her like she's nothing but a ditch for cum, then she's liable to look for love in other places.
But again, to answer your question, yes, there will be an option to distance yourself from you wife. All character romances are 100% optional.
Think I'll be probably be adding Emily to the ignore list as well for the most part just from reading the comments. I might do the one route but the other one will be ignored 100000%.

Well, it looks like we're inching our way to seeing what the next phase of Dr. Amana will finally look like. Here's a tidbit of info for the waiting hordes:

We're pushing hard to get this release ready for the weekend. We are hoping to to distribute Sunday evening. We still have an entire scene left to render, but we're putting the final touches on Nanami's animated sex scene. It's our first ever 100%, built from the ground up, original animation.
Naturally there was a bit of a learning curve, but I think what we've done is comparable if not better than we've scene elsewhere. The upside, is that as good as it is, future animations will only get better.
And knowing how to build them from scratch, relieves us of having to accept janky premade animations that might not scale well with our characters. Win-win. The animation will consist of 120 total frames. We're going to fire off the renders in about fifteen minutes.
We are anxious to know just how long it will take to render these Iray images. If it's too long, there's obviously room for optimization in the long term. But for now, we want to max out and see how far we can take it.
We'll keep you posted as things develop.

Okay, but her story arc should end before it gets to that point because that's squarely in the 'other guy doing my girl' genre most people (including myself) hate. Her story arc should end before that point. Emily moves out (possibly taking not-daughter with her) and isn't seen or heard from again. Sort of like Dating my Daughter did with Georgina (the secretary): if you neglect her and reject her advances, she disappears towards the end of the game, leaving behind only a farewell note. Other characters, if rejected, become purely platonic towards the MC or disappear as well, once they're no longer relevant to the storyline.

Make no mistake, we have driven hard these last 72 hours to get this distribution wrapped up and out on time. But I'm looking at a clock that says 9:30pm and the hours are continuing to burn away.
We are close, so very close it's painful. But we still have another four hours of rendering that needs to be accomplished as well as the post production work that goes along with that. So the wait will be just a little longer. But not much.
The parts that are done have been tested, debugged and are clean, so really it's just one scene we are trying to wrap up. Now that the bad news is out of the way, here is some good news...
We've tested the mechanic for character pregnancy and it is working within spec. We have so far completed over 80 renders for this release and will have close to 100 high quality renders for the opening of the beta. And for $20 patrons this will include our first high quality, fully original animated sex scene.
Now that we have a feel for how the animation system in Daz works, you can expect a lot more of this in future releases. Animating these characters is most definitely an enjoyable process.
We ask that you hang in there just a bit longer. We promise your patience will be rewarded!

Just so you know, that's commonly referred to as exhibitionism.
I don't know how far they plan to take the therapist aspect. They have said they intended it as just a plot device so they can more easily pull several different storylines (in the same setting, with common characters) together.

I wouldn't call that exhibitionism, there are courses for women of all ages we have difficulties to get (or never even had) an orgasm. In this case the therapist doesn't interact with the patients, but may participate by pleasuring herself to show things. That's basically the same thing, but doesn't have anything to do with exhibitionism.
The game is really good, but before it could really pick up speed, their rendermachine was broken and so the game couldn't progress for the last months and I think many patreons were lost.
As a very early patreon I hope this game can now continue and grow steadily again.
I just hope that the many paths with all the girls and optional pregnancy and so on won't reduce the speed of progression for each girl too much.
