I was chatting with the artist on his discord server about the speed of updates and this is what he told me, here's a general idea.
Yes, he and the coder have jobs in real life, and they've generally written more than once about how there's not enough money from patreon to be able to live solely on that source of income.
To draw one scene takes from a week to a week and a half, depending on its complexity and the number of characters and their interactions in the frame.
Animation takes at least two weeks.
When I asked if he could do it somehow faster, I was told that in this case, he would have to do static scenes, to reduce their quality and detailing, to give up animation.
It's the only way we can expect a significant increase in production speed.
He said, since he came to the patreon to grow as an artist, he won't sacrifice quality for the sake of speed.

I'm inclined to believe what the authors say because I follow the game very closely and I've never once managed to catch them in a careless attitude or lie all the time.

Dude I dont have a problem with that he has a good attitude for it the one I admire always said it that a delay a game is good my dream is to become satrou okida from nintndo one of the beat programs in the indeatry him and the producer of FFXIV they're are the ones I admire more of it is quality his good so take all his time

Found this article for people who want to travel less.

Use an editor online or on your computer to edit the rpg_objects.js file in the Futa Quest __\www\js location.

In this file search for Game_CharacterBase.prototype.realMoveSpeed (should be on line 6364) and change the 1 value to a 2.

Roxy will move much faster and really helps to kill a lot of the padding. Higher values will be quicker.

Small walkthrough for the Batman/Joker/Harley minigame puzzle (Hallucinogen mushrooms):

Keep in mind "I just love walking around naked" path is more involved if you want to see more content. I recommend doing both routes and saving after so you can continue from whichever makes sense to you, if that's your thing.

It's only possible to get 3 out of 4 achievements.

The number you have and I have is the result of different currency since Patreon is reading the numbers in our respective currencies but both numbers are more than enough for this dev to get some content in this game.

In USD it is 2465 but in mine it is 3156

^^^^ This is why Patreon is fading, and why this entire adult game scene can't progress. Rewarding sloppy work at a slow pace is the end result of the current system. Futa Quest is a perfect example, making a 2nd bug ridden version to match the first unplayable bug ridden version which has never developed past 0.65.

If you like to walk back and forth with no objective, no place to go and no one to talk too, this is the game you've been waiting for.

Hopefully the Dev squeezed a lot of money from the Patreon suckers, as that would be this heap of misguided code's only redeeming quality.

The game does suffer from lack of quality of life features, and the walking around a lot is one of the worst parts IMO, but it certainly has a story and a "flow" it follows as the story plays out.

To my knowledge there is no non-RPGM version There's indeed a walkthrough in the game folder, except the latest version (v1.15 Test) as indicated in the changelog.

You might wanna read up on things before you go on a rant. The v0.65 version is the first part of the game, as indicated by the "SPOILER: v0.65 Part1" and the comments. Is it an understandable mistake, and could it be written more clearly? Sure! Do I believe you should chill out a bit? Absolutely. If you have any constructive criticism I'd love to hear your thoughts, though.

I read a lot of biased reviews, but in my opinion, this is the most inadequate, I won't even write something in opposition since the person is too lazy to look at my post with a response from the artist.
Just one big stupidity.

As the waiting time between Updates is somewhat long, i prefer each new version from the beginning. Its a litte bit of a funny replay for me. But if you have a savegame which is not exactly at the end it "should" work.

But maybe he does the same with the first part of the game and make a third sometime. There is stilll sooooo much content to be added. But i know this developers well. They finish what they startet. Just saying =)

He first has to catch up on other main story girls. But Maiko will surely be hold on to for the big finish line. She is one of the most hated characters not only in this game but also in the series. I think there will be a somewhat deeper story involved with her and the "Thing" and Roxy.

And of course with the secret "helper". Soo much to wait for.... ^^
