I see what happened. Your companions got "lost" after the fight, and then it checked to see if you had any companions before displaying the next step. Logic in wrong order. :)

Anyway, I can put out a fix in another couple of days (after I finish up some other changes) but I would recommend actually deliberately losing that fight (and using as little energy as possible when you do). You'll get a much more interesting outcome if you do. :3

Dumb question, but I just referred a friend to this site and she uses an iphone... Are twine games not compatible with iOS? She's tried chrome and safari, no luck getting them to work.

It depends on the Twine game, but I didn't do any special mobile formatting to make the game look good on iOS. I don't see why it shouldn't work, though. Although...the games include images now, and I'm not sure you can load those on iOS?

i've been searching the forest for ages and can't find the bandits. is there an event trigger im missing?

I've mostly been doing game update posts over on tfgamessite in the past, but I wanted to start posting updates here too, to let you all know how things are going.

Development is slowing way down due to me adding so many different options coming out of the tentacle mystery event. In fact, at some point I'll need to go back and update the Bandits in the Forest event to reflect those new options.

The Patreon release is coming along more slowly than I expected, due to the same "lots of options" issue. I've gotten a good chunk of Alora's first date done, and I'm adding another date variant to round out the next Patreon release. Then I'll be doing a LOT of work on fleshing out the Service the Tip bar content, for pretty much the rest of this month.

On another note, my Patreon just passed $100, although I'm already adding artwork to the game. The next milestone ($500) involves a major chunk of new content -- content that I'm nowhere near ready to add, simply because there's so much groundwork yet to be laid. I'm vaguely considering adding another milestone between $100 and $500, but I'm hesitant to do that before I make a lot more headway in getting the existing content in place.

The next commissioned art will be for Keawe. I'm going to toss up a Patreon poll (for Patrons only, to start with) on what art you'd like to see next, after this.

In other news, I'm almost done with the Patreon release. That should happen by the end of this weekend. Then it's two full weeks of work on the missing Service the Tip bar scenes!

how much content is there thus far?
The first plot arc is completed. Depending on how fast you play, there's a good couple of hours' worth of content. Also, the Patreon bonus content adds an additional profession with some unique scenes. Between that and the Alchemist and Sorceress professions, the game allows for multiple playthroughs of the existing content with different results.

I'll be honest, my excitement only dropped about 60% when I saw it was text-based...
I'm adding artwork as fast as I can. The game is PRIMARILY going to be transformation-focused -- although not a lot of that has been written yet. And since I'm not an artist, that means any artwork needs to be commissioned. Technically, I *could* use 3D renders instead...but attempting to 3D render not only futa (which is hard enough, if you'll pardon the pun) but also things like tentacocks, a tentacle-tail, living tentacle clothing, etc...it quickly becomes MUCH more complicated to do than your typical 3D vanilla games which only have to worry about simple things like breast expansion.

Hopefully the gradual addition of artwork (and eventually sex scenes) will generate more interest as time goes on.

I'm glad you didn't go with 3D renders. I'd choose drawn art over 3D 90% of the time, even though my personal experience says that it's a lot more work to draw things from scratch. Something about renders just looks plastic to me, though I know others feel differently.

I prefer drawn art myself, too, though naturally it's more expensive to commission.

You can see one of the images that's already in the game, in the first post in this thread. My artist is dealing with finals this month so the next art is taking a little while, but within the next week to two weeks, I'll have the next commission in, plus -- hopefully -- three minor variants. Based on the votes on the public and Patron-only posts on my Patreon, it looks like the next character to get art will be the "mysterious woman" you meet at the beginning of the game, who

Just saw this otherwise I would have responded sooner. I came to the conclusion that Apple devices are just the worst. Not the first time I've come to that conclusion. Seems like the app she was using is keeping everything walled off from, well, everything necessary.

Yes, Apple devices are HIGHLY restrictive. (I've fiddled around with iOS development so I have some experience in that regard.) I'd be very surprised if you can get it to work on an iphone or tablet.

Good news! The latest Patreon release is finished...more or less. I didn't get as much done as I wanted to but with development slowing down due to LOTS of transformations to account for, I decided to stop and release what I have so far.

Bug testing is underway, so expect a release probably tomorrow. This includes a simultaneous general release with recent bug fixes, too.

In other news...I recruited some writing help! With development as painfully slow as it is, I wanted to move things along a bit faster for you all. I'll let you know more details as things move along, but the placeholder content for the Service the Tip bar should be getting filled in more quickly now.

Finally, my artist will have Keawe's first artwork ready in about a week or so, so after that it's onto the next character! And given the votes on my Patreon polls so far, it looks like the winner is...Ka'lahani the succubus! (I'm totaling votes from both the Patreon poll and the general poll, in case you're wondering why Felicia didn't win.) I'm going to do her succubus art first, then add her human "disguise" art afterwards.

I can't believe I'm still finding bugs in places like the clothing shop. Just found another one... o.o

Unless I find a ton of bugs tomorrow morning, the release should happen tomorrow, otherwise it'll be Monday morning at the very latest.

A convention interrupted today...but I do have good news! The other writer finished their first pass on filling in the placeholder text for the Service the Tip bar. It's just the "beginner" level but it's a HUGE improvement over what we have now. I'll have the Patreon release out tomorrow, and another general release out in the next couple of days -- as soon as I'm done integrating what the other writer wrote!

Version 0.7.5 is out! This general release is just bugfixes. There will be another general release within the next few days, which will include the first of the placeholder content for the Service the Tip bar.
